you are just a regular student at kpop high school ❪a/n: lol idk im not that creative❫. you had decent grades and great friends that is there when you need them. however, within your friend group, there was this girl that you had feelings for, and she was jo yuri. she was well-known in this school along with all her other friends. you were friends with all her friends because your sister, hyewon was also in that group.
"you should really stop staring." seungkwan says, snapping you out of your thoughts. yuri catches your stare. she smiles and waves before going back to talk with her friends. you blush and turn away, your eyes meeting seungkwan.
"i cant help but to. her beauty is so mesmorizing." you mumble, earning a disgusted look from seungkwan.
"yah! get that cheesy shit away from me, ew." he complained. seungkwan wasnt fond of cheesy lines. you chuckle.
"y/n-ah!" you turn to see hyewon and her friends.
"hm?" you respond.
"me and the girls are going to hang this weekend, want to come with?" hyewon asked.
"i mean, yeah, im the only one that can drive." you say, in a sarcastic tone. you then feel a slap from eunbi.
"i can drive too!... i just havent gotten around to getting my drivers' license." she reasoned, making you and some girls chuckle.
"mhm, yeah, sure." you say.
"see you this weekend, then." hyewon says before walking away with her friends.
"you should totally take this oppurtunity to ask yuri out, y/n." seungkwan suggested. you shrug.
"ill just let destiny do its thing." you say.
...
"oh my gahdness!" the girls say, in amazement, looking at all the rides and lights. you and 12 other girls were at a carnival, which you rented for the other girls to enjoy.
"is it only us? where are all the other people?" yujin questioned, confused.
"i rented the carnival for the night since you guys didnt know where to go." you answer, making all the other girls squeal and jump.
"you're the best!"
"wow!"
"oh my gahdness!" were all heard from the girls.
"just go, have fun." you smile, feeling happy from their energy. they all then go into groups and run off elsewhere, leaving you and yuri all alone.
"hey." you say, noticing that it was only you and yuri left.
"come on! dont just stand there." she smiles, taking your hand and leading you somewhere. your heart thumped and your face flushed.
"so what are we going to do first?" she asked, stopping in the middle of all the rides. her hand was still intertwined with yours which really didnt bother yuri but made you blush like a tomato.
"lets do that one!" yuri says, sparkles in her eyes as she saw a carousel in the distance, dragging you there.
you're like a little kid. you thought, smiling like an idiot.
...
after 15 different rides, you and the group decided it was best to ride the ferris wheel last so you guys can see the fireworks they show before the carnival closes.
of course, you and yuri were together. as the ride started to spin, you all were amazed by the view of the ocean and the buildings in the back.
"oh my gahdness.." yuri said in amazement. you soon hear like 11 other girls say the same thing, making you chuckle at how they all share the same braincell.
"its beautiful.." you say, yuri nodding in agreement.
"the view reminds me of you, yuri because you're beautiful." you blurted out, earning a blushing yuri.
"get a room, you two!" you hear above you. you recognize the voice as sakura's, then you hear a maniac laugh, which you knew was chaeyeons'. you smile.
"yah! do you have a crush on me?" yuri says, hearing that buasan accent from her.
"yeah, i do." you say. all of a sudden, you just felt the need to tell her you liked her tonight.
"i like you, a lot. ever since i laid my eyes on you, ever since we said our first "hello". as cliché as it is, it felt right. you felt right." you continued, leaving yuri speechless.
"i just.. want to be with you. i want to hold you. i want to kiss you. and i want to call you mine. thats if, you'd let me?" you finally ask her, looking into her eyes, that shined under the moonlight.
"y/n- i- yes." yuri smiled, blushing. you grinned from ear-to-ear. she wraps her arms around your neck and initiates a kiss, catching you off guard but you kiss back. you then hear fireworks go off in the background. what perfect timing!
you and yuri let go soon enough, smiling at each other.
"finally! you two got together!" you hear the girls cheer from all the other carts in the ferris wheel.
"y/nn-yul ❪a/n: basically shipname of you and yuri❫!" they chanted, making you and yuri laugh.
now you werent just a regular student, you had the girl of your dreams walking along with you.
