hello! I want to start off by saying that I'm sorry I have not been updating at all.
high school started and it sucks a lot.
I've been busy doing all of the work that writing was pushed to the back of my mind.
anyway, all that matters is that i am back. I'll start updating from now on but my updates won't be as weekly or as regular but ill try my best.
thank you.
now enjoy this story that practically explains what happened with someone i like.
...
"you know, nothing will happen if you keep staring at her." a voice who you recognized as a friend of yours knocks you out of your gaze.
"huh? what?" you look around, flustered from the sudden interruption. you turn to see chaeyeon, your seatmate. she giggles and points to where sakura was sitting.
"oh," you say, releasing a sigh out afterwards.
"i can't help but to. it's all i can do," you admit, looking back to where sakura sat.
"you should just tell her you like her. you'll end up regretting it if you don't." chaeyeon pats your back as she picks up her bag, leaving the classroom as the loud dismissal bell rung. you sigh and gather your things as well, watching sakura leave the classroom.
lunch came and you sat with your friends who were all talking to each other. you greet some of them who greeted you. you take out your lunch, thinking about what chaeyeon had said. should you confess to sakura? a person you barely had any interactions with?
"hey, y/n?" you hear your name being called ou, making you snap out of your thoughts.
"uh, yes?" you were getting quite annoyed about being in a pensive state almost all the time this day.
"are you not going to eat your lunch?" your friend asks you, you just shake your head no and hand it to them. they thank you and happily munch on your lunch.
you ended up deciding that you should confess to sakura. your feelings are starting to become difficult to bottle up.
...
"hey, sakura!" you shout, trying to catch the attention of the girl you were head over heels for. sakura stops in her tracks and turns around, identifying the voice that had shouted her name.
you stop front of her with a wide grin,"hey," you say to her. she smiles at you.
"oh hey," she replies back.
"is there a reason why you had to call my name?" sakura asks, raising a brow. you blush, embarrassed by the bold action you had done earlier.
"u-uh.. well, yeah. i have to tell you something," you say, sakura nods gesturing you to continue.
"listen, sakura i-"
"hey, sakura!" your words were interrupted by a voice. you both turn to see a boy with a cheeky smile. he walks over and gives sakura a peck on the lips. your heart breaks at the sight.
"sorry, what was it you were going to say?" she smiles as the boy pulls away.
"ooh.. i was just going to ask if you can send me the notes we copied for biology? i wasn't able to finish them." you say, throwing the fact that you were about to confess unaware she was already taken.
"yeah, I'll send them to you later." sakura rips out a small paper and takes out a pen to write her number.
"here, message me about it later on." you nod and wave sakura and her boyfriend off.
tears slowly spilt out your eyes as sakura becomes a small dot in the distance. you wipe your tears, wondering why you were even crying about a girl you barely know about. a girl you barely had any interactions with. it was a hopeless waste of time, yet you still liked her so.
that's right, you liked her so much, you can't help but cry. it was a pointless thought, thinking you'll get a chance to be with someone like sakura, who was sweet as candy but left a bitter taste.
