EVENING
I have been working all day like a boss my dad was and it was a great feeling . Although I was never the mean bitch kind of boss, sure we had to monitor all employees's work in all departments, negociate big affairs but there was no power given to us for being a dick to anyone. Two people were happy I gave them the day off because one's brother got an accident and the other one had to pick up his daughter from school as last minute noone available.
Theo and I worked together and that was what made all the work better and so much fun with his funny jokes. As much as I love my dad, his jokes...nuh uh uh dear god. No offence and I know that you ladies of his generations would kill me if I said anything about your idol...who happened to be my dad. Your idol, my dad.
"Hey kiddos, ready to go home?"Dad entered my office while Theo and I were in fact packing up our things.
"Yes Uncle Styles, thank you for the opportunity we ve had a good first day"Theo said and I smiled widely nodding.
"Don't mention it son, you re family too thats why we are all celebrating tonight."Dad said and as much as I would love it, it felt like a small bummer because I thought of having my date with Brandon. Aww man.
"Tonight?"I asked clueless but without showing I didn't want to either. Dad and Theo raised their eyebrows at me.
"Well we need to celebrate your first day of work together right ?"Dad asked , Theo smiled at him nodding before turning at me.
"Yeah Melissa, why got something better to do?"Theo asked teasingly and I rolled my eyes but recovered just smiled.
"Pff nooo. You re right, family first. I can always have my first official date anytime"I said and I noticed my father and my bestfriend looking sneekily at each other. What was up with these two? Theo came out dad's help now what? Hitting on my dad? Noooo of course, so what s going on?
"Aww sweetheart I know you want to see Brandon but a doctor finishes late at work and they even have night duties sometimes"Dad said putting his arm around me in support.
"You talked to Brandon? How do you know if he has night duty today?"I asked and both of them coughed awkwardly.
"No, thats the doctor's life. He s gonna find very limited free time and you better get used to it little lady"Theo said and I narrow my eyes at him.
"Don't call me little lady, I'm sort of your boss lady here. You re lucky you re my bestfriend"I said sassily and he just laughed so we laughed together.
"Ooooh Sorryyy boss. Well boss or not, you re still the baby of our trio"Theo said and I immediately started thinking of Jenny. I missed her, I hope she was doing well in university back in England. But before anything, my phone rang and it was facetime , Brandon.
"Heyyy Dr Mendes"I answered seeing his smiley face wearing his intern blue uniform. He looked so so cute. RIP McDreamy and McSteamy, well they re dead in the show but you know what I mean.
