She sits down by my side and takes an earphone. A smile and she sings, "~like flowers blooming in a lonely field," she sings, following the song.

It was bright and early, a Wednesday morning. No one is bound to be at the swing sets now, we were alone. Like flowers in a lonely field.

She clears her throat, "I missed the beginning."

Triple press on the head-phones and the song restarts. She closes her eyes to the melody and I stare, stare like I've never set my eyes on her before. It had been 3 weeks.

3 weeks since she said this wasn't her happiness. 3 weeks of longing.

"Dawn you—," she holds her finger up, in a shushing motion. "We'll miss the part Jungkook."

She turns around, she holds my hand. I remember it clear as day, it was soft, smaller in mine. "~And ultimately I believe we'll be okay. It's so cliché to say these things, but repetition is a key,"

My voice breaks but I follow the lyrics with her, "I think I'm better when I'm with you, but I worry when you're gone. I think I need to learn to love myself. I must learn to be strong,"

Tears line her eyes, lips quiver and I know she isn't just singing to the lyrics anymore, "~So for now we'll say goodbye. Although it pains me in my heart, your words they come to me in memories, they sing to me like songs. It won't be long until I'm here, soon I'll make my arrival,"

I pause the song and a single tear leaves her eyes, "I'm sorry. I love you."
