Dawn moves out of town the following week and I join the local art school. My mind was an A grade mess for the longest time. From spending time on the terrace too long messy, not returning Taehyung's messages too messy. But I'm okay, now.I've been okay. All that's left is love of every deep shade red when I think of her, every sunrise is richer since I've been with her. I've been happier since Dawn.
I meet Taehyung at the swing sets where I usually get so nostalgic I choke up, but the sunset is very pretty there. My red hair is fading and he points that out. I smile and just look up at the sky. Amidst twilight, the aubade to the sun and moon.
He kicks my shin and I twist my face, "That hurts."
"I can't even fit on the swing stop making me do this," he remarks as he eyes the plastic seat."You can fit on the seesaw," I say, cocking my head forward towards its general direction. "I'm not 5." He says immediately and I laugh. "No trust me!"
The evening ends with 19 year-old boys on a seesaw set, and a lady walking her dog stopping and staring a good 10 seconds.
Laughter rung our ears. I don't miss her as much.
(A/n) this is a mess
