Chapter 7

I sat beside Todoroki at lunch. After this day it the exams. Is he really comfortable with me staying here and not doing anything? "Todoroki?" I asked him while he slurped up his noodles.

"Hmmm?"

"Why are you so quiet and resurveyed?"

"Could ask you the same thing, I just like to keep to myself. I didnt come here to make friends. Even though i habe found myself make some. I don't mind sharing a few things. I just dont know what to talk about."

He said looking to me from the side. "Well, I'm trying to improve myself though with the quiet and a bit reserved part." He cleared hid throat looked at me.

"What about you though? I'm curious why you are trying to talk to me so much. Not even Midoriya tries so hard. I am just curious."

My heart pounded to his deep smoothing voice. "I well, I guess I just feel I don't know more comfortable and safe with you more than anyone else. You stay back and give me space. It's hard to explain kind of. I just want to get to know you more."

He looked away and ate some more. He still continued to talk to me.

"Well, in that case it makes since. Well I would gladly ta- ah!"

All of a sudden he spiked up and shivered. I looked and my tail brushed him! "I am so sorry!"

"N-no it it's fine really."

I held my tail so it didn't hit him again. Todoroki was watching you from the corner of his eye.

"You don't need to do that you know."

"I feel bad though..."

Todoroki Pov

Why is she trying to get so close to me? Did she mean to do that? Why does she always try to talk to me? I'm no one special.

"Todoroki?"

She tilted her head at me. She is like a fox, shy nervous yet when it comes to prey, she uses her charm on them. Wait am I her prey?!? Is she trying to charm me?

You Pov

I was blushing as he was examining me.

"Sorry I was just thinking."

"Of what?"

"Am I your prey?"

"Eh?" I said looking at him dumbfounded. He was completely serious, I was trying to hold back a laugh.

"Foxes, they are shy and nervous around strangers, but they charm their prey when It comes down to it."

I laughed I couldn't hold it and shook my head. "No silly, I'm just getting comfortable with you. It's why I am opening up to you. Remember how I tired to flirt with you to win? That's what I do to my prey, not to a friend.... I mean if you, you know haha want to be friends..." I let go of my tail and wagged it.

"I thought we were already friends."

My tail spiked up. "I uh well I uh..." I looked to see Kaminari giving me a hint to nudge him. He gave me a thumbs up and sat with a girl. That must be the girl he is talking about. I leaned on Todoroki and yawned to play it casually.

"What are you doing?"

"I uh sleeping?"

"Oh, well you might want to have a bed for that. I dont think sleeping on me would be comfy. Also you might want to wrap it up, we only have ten more minutes before lunch ends."

"Wait he is okay with this? No he's tensed up but hardly cares. That's it I am going to keep talking to him, until I get something back. I want him to be happy!

"Also for your tail, you shouldn't hide it. In my opinion it's a part of you. If  you want to know how to control it, you should keep it out more. Just be yourself I mean your tail isn't a bad thing."

I smiled with the advice he gave me. My heart fluttered he is a caring guy. I like him a lot...
