*Chapter 2*

In the cafeteria

"the lines dead," Sighed Gabriel trying the phone. "a nuclear explosion can cause one" Alex remembered. "cause what?' I asked. "emp. Electromagnetic pulse. The powers out." Everyone nodded. "So nothing works? Not even cars?" Dariush exclaimed. I nodded, "well you guys have food and a roof over you head you can do a lot worse then sitting here and waiting this out," Gabriel's says. "Waiting what out?" I asked him. All of a sudden you all hear a loud bang from out side. Zhenzhen grabs her bag and you all run outside. Zhenzhen taps Alex's shoulder and he turns around and points at the sky, "guys!" We all turn around and some capsules thing hits the ground causing us all to fall. You felt the breath get knocked out of you. Gabriel runs over "are you okay?" He asked while helping you up, "yeah" you say tripping cause you to trip him and you fall on top of him, you we so close to his face you we almost kissing. You both just stare at each other for which felt like forever until someone interrupted, "Hey I claimed her first back off bitch!" Dariush yelled at Gabriel pulling you off him. "OW!" You say yelping at how hard he pulled your arm. "GET YOUR HAND OFF HER! You don't claim anyone especially her!" Gabriel yelled at Dariush. Dariush lets you go and you have a red mark on your arm that hurts. Dariush walks away. "Are you okay??" Gabriel says worried. "Yeah I'm fine it just hurts..." "can I do anything to help?" You just walk closer to him and hug him. "Thank you." "For what?" "Fighting in my defense." He just smiles and hugs you back. You both run over while hear Dariush rambling about not opening it. "Don't touch it" you yell as Gabriel touches it with his hand. "Does anyone have any water?" Dariush asked. Zhenzhen pulls some out of her bag and hands it to Dariush. He starts chugging it, "are you serious?!" You say ripping it out of his hand. You run over to Gabrie land pour some on his hand. He hissing in pain and you stop and walk over to the capsule and start spraying the water on the door. "Woah woah, what are you doing don't open it we don't know what this shit is!" Dariush exclaimed. "There could be someone inside!"you say pushing him out the way. He moves back in front of you and say, "This Is animal kingdom out here, Bitches. All right, survival of the fit--" Dariush says while the door flies and hits him in the back, making him fly and hit the ground. "hello?" you all walk up to the opening. A Women pops up holding her stomach. We all help pulling her out the capsule. Pulling her onto the ground. "I thought space was supposed to make you weightless." "we're not in space dude." Alex and Dariush argue. "Where am I?" the astronaut asks. "At Rim of the World Adventure Camp, near big bear." Alex tells her. "This is a camp?" "Yeah, I was disappointed too but..." Dariush explains. "Coordinates all wrong. Pasadena... Dr. Fielding." "I'm sorry, but we're not near Pasadena right now." I Explained to her. "JPL!" "JPL? The Jet Propulsion Laboratory. It's part of NASA." I said. "Try not to move as much, okay" Gabriel says to her. "The Key! Take it to JPL, Dr. Fielding. It has everything on it. Excalibur, everything. She says looking behind me and Gabriel then grabbing Alex. "GO!" she screams while some creature snarls behind us. We all start running back to the cafeteria. "it has a dog!" Alex screams. Gabriel is running while holding your hand moving you with him until he notices Alex. He let's go of you hand and run after Alex. "come on, lets go!" you says as you all run to the kitchen to hid. You, Gabriel, and Zhenzhen hide behind a table. "Alex Dariush over here." you and Gabriel say in sync. Alex make it over but Dariush doesn't in time. You huddle next to Gabriel with your head on his chest. He put his arm round you and whispers, "its gonna be fine, I got you." it gives you tingles and he holds you tighter. All of a sudden you her a loud crash like utensils falling on the ground. You hear Dariush scream. "HELP ME! HELP!" you all jump up as you see Dariush and the alien thing going into the washer. you hear the alien screech and Dariush comes out the other side. He comes running towards you guys and the alien jumps at you guys but, you all duck down and Zhenzhen closes the vent. you all head for the door but the big alien starts walking in so you all go out the window. Zhenzhen, Alex, and Dariush run to the port-a-potty ad they are to fast to catch up to so you and Gabriel had to find another hiding spot. "under here." he says grabbing your hand a pulling you under the stairs. It was a small space so you had to sit in between his legs. He put his hand over your mouth, "shh... you have to be quiet." he whispers in your ear, you are whimpering. He puts one arm around half of your waist leaving his hand on your thigh gripping it. Your face gets hot and it turns red. The alien stomps on the top of the stairs causing you and Gabriel to huddle closer together. the alien leaves some where. "We have to help them." He nods. We both get out from under the stairs when we both hear banging coming from the vent. We turn around to see the dog alien coming out the top of the vent. "come on run!" Gabriel says while grabbing you hand and you both start running towards the capsule. "Get the door!" He yells as he hops in the capsule. You grab the door and jump in as fast as you can with the door and close it. You try and fall on Gabriel's lap. "uh... Sorry.." you say as your both facing each other. "Uh.. It's uh.. okay..." he says. You both just stare at each other for awhile, your lips almost touching. He starts leaning in until, You hear loud banging on the door. "come on guys, lets go!" they are yelling but you guys can't hear them. "guys leave the dogs out there!" they all stop and turn around. All of a sudden the dog jump at the door and it scares you and you turn around into Gabriel's arms. "We have to help them!" you say crying. "Hey, Hey, its okay we are gonna do everything we can to help." you start pushing random buttons. You back up and run into Gabriel and he falls into a lever. You hear a roar of like fire. "How do we get out?!" You say pushing the door. "Watch out," Gabriel kicks the door and it pops open. You both jump out and see the dog on the ground burnt. "I think we got it." You say. "Yeah after your little hook-up!" Dariush says walking up to Gabriel pushing him. "What the hell dude I told you she was mine!" You walk up to Dariush and punch him to the ground and start beating his ass until Gabriel pulls you off of him. "IM NOT GOING TO BE CLAIMED BY ANYONE, IM NOT AN OBJECT!" You say starting to cry. You turn around and hug Gabriel. "I don't even like you anyway Dariush." You say rolling your eyes at him. Gabriel hugs you back. You smile. Until you see the big alien in the distance you brake the hug, "RUN!" You yell making everyone start running. The alien catches up to you guys and jumps on top of you guys. It puts its like tongue in Dariush's mouth and spits black goo on him. Then jets fly over us and shoot the alien off us and we run. "I didn't sign up for this shit man" Dariush says complaining.
