my addiction takes a hold of me
it's the only one that knows me
shakes me until I can't breathe
just do it it tells me
it doesn't matter
how far down the hole
you climb
it will only tell you to
dig deeper
go further
towards a feeling you
can never reach
a wholeness you will never experience
with these drugs
that lies
that withers away at your life time
acting like it's your life line
but it's high time to realize
it's your life's crime
never stopping this pure instinct
to dive right off the cliff
into the abyss
you can't miss
what you never experienced
but you can't experience
what you missed
if you jump off that cliff
don't do it.
