day dreams go to die
fantasize
these day dreams
in my mind
to escape the lingering
of reality,
where the day dies
and only stars shine
the constellations
mask my hesitations
my situations
that leaves devastation
i'm elevating
meditating
dreaming up the
best reality to die in
dive in
fly in
soar above the clouds
a place we can confide in
no lying
no terrifying
reality that we die in
fighting for our justice
but can't deny it
peace before violence
never fight it
cause hatred never wins
dominance is a myth
see it again and again
just keep calm
control your tongue
and see what it is
a life lesson
keep on growing
showem what it is
live life full of heart
and compassion in the streets
show people new ways
and remind them of their soul
that years to be free
the world's tough out there
but don't defeat
with the wings on your shoulders
let your mind be free
set out to change the world
and one day you'll see
the devil will never win
with God by your side
you can't be beat
