"Hermione, you do not understand," Ginny said, "I would have paid a hundred galleons to see that mess!" The air Hermione had been holding in her cheeks popped making a sound like her mouth was farting, making them laugh even harder.
Hermione righted herself, "Okay so if I tell you a secret that has to do with that, will you give me those hundred galleons?"
"Mmm, okay I'm gonna say yes so that you tell me the secret but I probably won't," Ginny watched Hermione open her mouth to retort, "But now that you said there's a secret you automatically have to tell me because I said so."
Hermione's eyes twitched like she was having a blinking seizure. This wasn't the first time Ginny had watched her do this. Hermione would try to act like the shit and narrow her eyes into mean slits so that the person would give in but she would also be trying not to laugh; resulting in whatever that was.
"Don't even try," Ginny scoffed.
Hermione paused for a moment then burst, "Okay, so I may have seen it happen-"
"YOU WHAT- HOW?!"
"So I, being the only responsible one in the D.A.D.A., was putting away the pillows after practice-"
"I like where this is going."
"Well I'm not going to waste my time telling you if you interrupt me!"
"Fine, sorry."
"Right anyways, so I was piling the pillows beside the dummies and then I realized there were still some people in the room," Hermione's cheeks went red, "I kinda wedged myself behind one of the dummies so that I could be hidden because it would be awkward if I walked across the room and out the door 'cause that would totally look like I was being an eavesdropper and they would-"
Ginny rolled her eyes, "You're going off track."
"Sorry, okay so when I was behind the dummy I just figured I'd wait until they were done and then I'd leave. I wasn't even planning on eavesdropping but then I realized the voices were Harry and Cho's so I couldn't not listen in on what was happening! I peeked but they were on the other side of the room so I couldn't really make out what they were saying.
"They were talking really low and then Cho started crying and was looking at the picture of Cedric on the board so it clicked it my mind and I felt really bad for her because Harry isn't the best at being comforting. So I thought, 'Oh, Harry likes her so this will be the perfect distraction'."
"Hey! You knew I liked him."
"See, that's just it, liked. It's past-tense."
"You're the worst."
"Ginny! Let me finish the story."
"Whatever."
"Well I had the brilliant idea to conjure up some mistletoe over them so I had to watch while they... they- well, they slurped." Hermione looked down to see that Ginny wasn't eye level with her anymore, she was on the floor cackling.
Hermione grabbed a pillow and threw it at her friend, "C'mon it's not that funny."
Ginny was at the point of wheezing and sputtering out some inaudible crap. Hermione giggled and kicked her playfully, "What are you saying?"
Ginny continued to wheeze.
"Spit it out!" Hermione laughed.
Ginny gasped for air, "SLURPED." And she was right back to it, laughing like she'd never heard a joke. Hermione puffed up her cheeks again trying not to laugh, it wasn't even that funny but Ginny's golden reaction resulted in her losing it too.
