the next morning, birdie makes sure her mother isn't awake. she doesn't need to hear her mother yelling at her for no apparent reason. she's already had enough as it is.
she quietly gets out of her room and makes sure she doesn't step on the loose tile by the door. before she walks out, she grabs her sketch pad, knowing she'll grow bored after lunch. she'll have a distraction when isaac tries to talk to her. he had no right anymore, no one does.
___
"birdie," isaac calls from behind her. she's walking to her first period class; she shares the period with stiles and scott, two boys she admires from a far. she's heard multiple conversations of their's and wonders how they're not going psycho right now.
wolves hunting them, girl naked and screaming, and a hunter who happens to be related to allison argent?
that's a load of bull right there. not enough for anyone to handle alone. she figures they're not alone, for they're always surrounded by the beautiful lydia and allison, isaac, and the twins that came in last year. even if the twins were the outcast of the group, stiles and scott still had moral support from them.
and she's gotten used to the fact she's not getting what they have. it's been sixteen years.
