Run, run, run. That's all I can think about. Aaaaarrrrrrroooooooowwwwwwww. Oh no they've caught my scent. Or was it one of the others? I tripped over a rock and almost toppled over. " I can't think about them, I've just gotta keep running." I told myself as tripped again. I looked over my shoulder. I could hear them crashing through the underbrush. The trees thinned then disappeared altogether. But I didn't notice. All I could do was listen. Aaaaarrrrrrrooooooowwwwwww. That was close. And it brought me back to reality just in time. I skidded to a stop. Right in front of me was a cliff that went strait down to a rocky bottom. I heard russling behind me and turned around. They were coming my way. There were five of them. Creatures that were a mix between a wolf and a man. Not a werewolf. They couldn't change into a man or into a wolf.
As they got closer I instinctively backed up...to the very edge of the cliff. The wolves were getting close fast. I allowed myself a quick glance backwards. There was no way I would survive a fall and I didn't have room to take off. As I looked up I was greated by the ugly, slobbering face of their leader. He snarled then lunged at my neck. I unfolded my wings but it was too late...
