2 - Tutor Favor

With a pile of books in her arms, a brunette was walking to her Dad's office, she was walking alone, no friends were there to help the poor girl, some even sometimes bumped her shoulders, but there wasn't even a sorry was muttered to the girl, she was just that unnoticeable.

The girl was arrived at her Dad's office, just when she wanted to knock the door, faintly, she could hear...

"No, Jennie Kim, yes I know you're active in many clubs but you have to work your butt for your grades! The final exams are coming for God's sake!" Jisoo couldn't be any more shocked than this, her Father, the most respected Professor in SM University was talking informally to a student.

"Why should I work my butt off? Many people say that my butt is fine. So are my grades." Mr. Kim rubbed his chest, especially when he saw the serious expression of the girl in front of him, she was serious, and now she was checking her pants, her butt to be exact, in front of her Professor, "Jennie, seriously, please, be serious."

Jisoo felt eerie, her Dad's tone was deep and dead serious. But she was shocked more when she heard the girl chuckled, "Oh come on Professor, stop being so serious. I know final exams are coming, I will study harder, now, can I just go home?"

The table was slammed by the professor, Jisoo rushed in, she quickly got a glass of water for her Dad, "...Thank you, Jisoo" Mr. Kim gulped the whole water in the glass and smiled thankfully to his daughter, he turned his head to Jennie, "You, you are going to be taught by my daughter." Mr. Kim threw the result of Jennie's mid tests which most of them were marked with D or E or even F.

Jennie who was still shocked from the slam before nodded her head in fear, "U...Uh...No...ngg...kay..." but it was Jisoo's turn to protest, "No, Dad!" Jennie turned her head to the girl beside her Professor, "Ungg, is this your nerd daughter?"

Jisoo frowned but she kept her head down, Mr. Kim glared to Jennie, "What did you say about her?!" Jennie gulped, "She must be so clever, just like her father, an absolutely definitely the best tutor for me." Jennie gave her best fakest smile, made Mr. Kim scoffed, Jennie huffed in relief, at least he didn't slam the table again.

The Professor glared at Jennie and rubbed Jisoo's hand, "First, you have to treat Jisoo WELL or you have to be kicked out from this University. Second, these are the subjects you have to work in. Third, If I ever heard something bad happen to Jisoo, say good bye to your head." Jennie opened her mouth, but no word was coming out, she nodded her head, obeying her Professor in fear, she never known that her Professor could be this scary.

"Okay, now you two go and know each other, start studying, Jisoo please teach her well. You two are dismissed." Jisoo whined but she kept her mouth shut, she was just always that quite, never could shout out what was in her mind, and she hated herself for that.

Jisoo walked out, stomping her feet in the process, leaving Jennie and her dad.

"Ngg..." Mr. Kim glared at the stuttered girl, "You are going to be my daughter's student, now out." Jennie nodded and stood up, she even bowed and ran outside, leaving Mr. Kim alone, the professor loosen his tie, exhaled and dialed a number.

"Hey Kim, I did your favor, your daughter is going to be taught by someone competent. Eh? It's my daughter, yeah I know, yah! Don't talk about my daughter that way! She isn't a nerd! Okay a bit, YAH! Hahahha." And the conversation was diverted to something we didn't have to know.

The two girls were standing in front of each other, one was hanging her head down while the other was eyeing the girl in front of her, "You know what's weird?"

The girl answered without raising her chin, "...what?" Her voice was weak made Jennie creasing her brows, "What did you say?" Jisoo answered louder now, "What is weird?" Jennie chuckled, "You know, your father is quite handsome, why aren't you pretty?"

"W...What?" Jennie laughed, "I'm kidding, not that fully kidding though, you just aren't pretty, that's it." Jisoo frowned but the girl in front of her couldn't see it since she was still hanging her head down, "Uh...Ungg... Yeah... Sorry..."

"It's okay, why do you apologize? Don't be too serious." Jisoo was still hurt from the blunt words Jennie gave to her about her face just now, she kept mum, so was Jennie until Jennie spoke, "Hey look, you don't have to teach me, we both have our own precious times right? I have parties to attend and you have library to be filled by you and your friends, so, let's not do this tutor thing, okay?" Jisoo bit her lips, she never broke any rules, "Ngg, I don't know... But you need to.... pass the final exams or... you will get expelled..."

"Oh come on, I'm SM's model, absolutely will be one of the lead singers in SM University, I pay the tuition more than most students here, I'm their asset, no, they won't expel me." Jisoo was shocked at how confident the older girl was, "Ngg... But you still need to pass your exams..."

Jennie felt annoyed, "Whoa, beside nerd, you are also annoying, you know that?" Jisoo got her blood boiled, she was timid but that wasn't mean that she didn't have feeling, "W...why do you say something like that about me!?"

"Yah, look at me when you're talking to me!"

"...You know what?! Screw these tutor things! I will talk to my Dad!"

Jennie was shocked at the Brunette's ouburst but she didn't want to lose,"Oh good! Sooner is better!"

"Okay, bye!"

Jisoo turned her body around to go back to her Dad's office but then a hand stopped her wrist, "Y...Yah! Stop! No, don't tell your Dad, okay, just... Just teach me quickly and don't disturb my naptime and party time, okay?!" Jennie tried to be didn't care but actually, she was also scared to embarrass her parents' name if she didn't pass the exams and got expelled but she thought by being harsh, this girl would let her off.

Jisoo was shocked, it was been a very long time since someone made a skin contact with her, "Uuuggh...." The younger girl was blushing.

"Look, yeah, ngg, not really sorry, but yeah kinda sorry." The apologize wasn't sincere but Jisoo, who was never got any sorry, felt happy, "When can I start tutoring you?"

Jennie groaned but she stared at the mid test's result papers in her hands, "Uhh... This afternoon? After my nap time? Around 3 pm?"

"Okay, my place, 3 pm, bring any notes you have. Now, if you ex..."

"No no, my place! Your place will be full of books and...Your Dad is kinda... Uh... Yeah... That..." Jisoo held her chuckle, the girl was scared of her Dad, "But I don't know how to go hom..."

"I will take you home."

"Ngg.. Okay..."

"Deal."

"Yeah, now if you excuse me..."

Jisoo walked fast to the library, couldn't forget how smooth Jennie's hand on her wrist was.

"Yah, Ji! Ji something! Yes you!" Jisoo turned around when she heard her surname was called by the girl, now her student, "What's your phone number?"

Another new experience to Jisoo, "Nggg..." Jennie felt annoyed at how timid Jisoo could be, "Ssh, forget it, I will find it. Oh right, try to look the person you are talking to in their eyes. See you this afternoon." Jennie turned her head and raised her right hand, then walked to the parking lot, to her car.

Little did the arrogant girl knew, the younger girl raised her head a bit to see her walking away.
