Chapter 1

I woke up with my stupid alarm on. I groaned and got up. I decided to take a shower so I grabbed my towel and went straight to the bathroom. I let the hot water hit my skin

after the shower

I went to my closet and took out a black floral print crop top, denim jeans, black cardigan and black vans. I curled the ends of my hair. I unplugged my phone.

I got my earbuds and headed downstairs. I ate cereal and left a note to my mom that I was gonna go to my friend Anayeli's house.

I got my penny board and went to her house. it wasn't very far, just like two blocks down from my street.

I got there which seemed like forever and I rang the doorbell

"Omg hey!" She said

"Hi!" I hugged her and she hugged back. She had tears in her eyes and I wiped them away.

"Aww don't cry." I told her.

"But am so sad that your leaving today" she said

"Yeah I know I don't wanna leave, but look on the bright side! You could come visit me!! And don't worry I'll FaceTime you whenever you want okay?" I said trying to cheer her up.

"Okay" she said with a little smile with her face. She opened the door wider so I can go in. It was a nice house actually. Not to exaggerated though.

"So what do you wanna do?" I asked

"Mmm... how about we watch the fault in out stars?" she said

"Yess!" I told her.

She went upstairs to her bed and brought the movie out. After watching tfios my mom called me.

"Hello?" I answered

"Hunny, come home, we need to start packing and getting ready to leave."

"Okay..." I replied. I pressed end.

"I'm sorry, I have to go" I said to Anayeli with a sad face.

"What? already?!" she said

"Yeah am sorry. my mom wants me to get packing"

"Aww okay, well, I guess this is it. byeeeee" she said almost crying.

I hugged her and it lasted for about a minute.

"I'll text you when I get there okay?" I said

"Okay, scummy for life" she laughed a little I smiled

"Yes, scummy for life" I said

I left her house and started to ride my penny board home. how much I'm going to miss her I thought.

I finished packing everything I needed and we were already at the airport. I was listening to Don't Tell Em by Jeremih. We got in the plane and we flyed off to Compton {Ik it sounds weird😂😂}

How will this place be? Am I going to make new friends? all these questions were running in my mind.
