FOURTY-THREE - They are not XL, they are just cute

Minseok goes weird with Hanbyul's behaviour. The night when she cried so hard, she seems to open up to Minseok again but the next day, she became cold again. They stayed for a week in China and now it's already three days since they come back to Korea.

He cannot think for any reason why his wife behaving like this to him again. And today, he muster up his courage and decided to ask Hanbyul by himself without the need to guess anymore.

The sound of door being closed was heard even from his bedroom. Minseok startled and lift up his head from laying on his desk just now. He knew that sound is the sign showing that Hanbyul is already back from work. He decided to greet her and Minseok quickly gets up from his seat in his study room and walks to their living room. This double storey bungalow of his seems to big for only two of them living together. Just when he reaches the living room, he sees Hanbyul getting down from the stairs with two large luggages with her.

Minseok goes panic.  "Where she wants to go?" His mind asks.

"Hanbyul!" - He shouts.

Hanbyul doesn't even care to respond to him, she walks ahead instead and gets out from the house with her luggages.

"Hanbyul! Byullie!" - He calls again while running to his front door.

Hanbyul pulls her luggage to the car that already waiting for her outside. Minseok sees a male silhouette at the driver side of that expensive Mercedes-Benz AMG-G65 exclusive edition. The second most expensive Benz in the world and not many people in South Korea can afford it. And Minseok apparently happened to know one.

Non other than his own friend under his company label, Park Chanyeol.

He speeds up his walk and reach for Hanbyul before stopping her from putting her second luggage inside the Benz.

"Byullie wait. Why you suddenly behaving like this?" - Minseok asks with a sorrow voice. His eyebrows crunches.

"Minseok, I hope you can let me go. I don't want to suffer alone in this relationship as I knew things won't work out between us two." - Hanbyul pushes his hand on hers gently.

"What makes you say like that babe? Look at me." - Minseok's both hands moves to her face before gently forcing her to look at him in the eyes.

Chanyeol who see from his side mirror and heard the scene from the open door of his car where Hanbyul loads her luggage finally steps out from his car towards the opposite side of him.

Hanbyul removes her husband's hands from her face. She dislike it. She dislike what he did now.

"Minseok, I finally can accept the fact that "us" won't work between me and you. You said it by yourself that the woman you love goes international and you wanted that way too. I can see how hard you work for that right now. I can see you want to chase her that much." - Hanbyul bursts.

"Bu...but...."

His words was cut out by Hanbyul.

"Go for it Minseok. Go for her. I'm letting you go. I'm letting us go. From now on, there won't be us anymore. Goodbye Minseok." - She puts the luggage inside and shuts the passenger door of the care before opening the co-driver door and sets herself inside.

The sound of the door closes in front of him hits his heart like a truck. Is this the one that he felt before? The one which he felt like will lost something big in order to reach for his dream?

Chanyeol comes nearing before tapping his friend's shoulder.

"I didn't make any move on her. Before you say anything about this, don't accuse me trying to take her away from you. You are still my friend dude even though I like her too. I won't seize her away from my own friend. I know my limit. She called me a few weeks ago asking to help her with what she needs. I'm just helping her here. Nothing more than that." - Chanyeol explains.

Minseok looks at him and he sighs.

Chanyeol just let a short smile without any meaning to ease his friend.

"But friend, if you cannot make her happy, let her go. If you think you love her because you cannot let her go, then it's not love my friend, that is your urge to conquer. Your urge to own. If you love her, you will be willing to sacrifice a bit for her." - Chanyeol advices his friend before he walks away to drive back his car away from Minseok's garage.

The ride went silent. It's been almost 30 minutes and Hanbyul still didn't utter any words. She just stare outside with one hand supporting her chin and her face close to the window of the car.

Chanyeol shakes his head. He decided to talk first.

"Don't just stare outside blankly like that. I know you are crying." - He starts.

Hanbyul's hands automatically busy removing her own tears making Chanyeol chuckles from her cute acts.

"You can just cry. I don't mean to stop you from crying. But, you can share with me if you think you need someone to talk to. I don't mind lend you my ears. They are in XL sizes for reasons." - He lifts his both shoulders, feeling proud.

Hanbyul finally chuckles from his joke. Chanyeol ears are indeed huge but Hanbyul founds them cute.

"They are not XL, they are just cute. Please don't insult them." - Hanbyul reaches out her left hand touching Chanyeol's right ear like she is trying to console his ears from his own words just now.

Chanyeol smiles widely.

"You better get your hand off from them if you don't want me to steal you away from Minseok. You know I still have feelings for you right?"

By hearing that, Hanbyul quickly removes her hand from Chanyeol's ear.

Chanyeol finally laughs at her acts.

"Hahahahahah Hanbyul. Don't make that face. I am not angry at you. You just make me flutter again just now. Nothing serious."

"But still. I don't want to give you any hopes." - She crossed her hands in front of her chest while pouting.

"See that! You trying to act cute in front of me again!" - Chanyeol teases her again.

Hanbyul bulges her eyes and hit his arm. "I didn't acting cute!"

"Okayy, okayy, okayy. You did not. Now stop hitting me it hurts!"
