FIFTEEN - His Place

Working everyday that occurs her to constantly be in an office is so tiring for Hanbyul. She prefers to be on site with her jeans and all those muds. And she also needs extra thinking to do on the first place since she is not her expertise.

She eyes all those document inside Minseok's office. She sighs hardly with all the pressure. Being full time working and also need to takes care of Minseok is tiring for her. She needs to make sure all of Minseok's appliances complete in the morning before she can go to work and also she need to makes sure she arrives early, same as other workers do.

She needs to write scripts and on the same time contributes to Minseok's part too. Reviewing all of dramas, variety shows, filming setting and even studios are sure making her working load twice from normal.

"Writer Zhang, you need to be in your own office room right now. The main actor for the new drama wants to see you to discuss about his script." — Haeyoung informs Hanbyul.

"It's just the two of us, Hanbyul is enough." — Hanbyul protests with what Haeyoung called her just now.

"I need to practice you know or else I might mistakenly call you Hanbyul or wrost, Mrs. Kim when others are around." — Haeyoung whispers loud while looking to left and right on her surroundings making sure nobody listens to her.

"Hahahah eonnie, it's okay for me if you just keep it with only my name even in front of others." — Hanbyul chuckles to Minseok's secretary. Or more like hers now right?

"It's okay for you but not for Mr. Kim. You know Hanbyul, he scold me the other day when we were on the phone. He nagged to me about how important it is to show respect to my superior and as you are my superior's wife, I need to respect you too since you is considered as my superior too. I just don't get Mr. Kim now. He seems to take care of you like a lot now right?" — Haeyoung asks.

"Eh? I don't think so? He acts normally tho at home? Nothing less or more. He just want me to take lesser care about him only. I mean he doesn't want me to do certain things for him anymore and want to do it by himself now. That's it." — Hanbyul goes weird.

"Oh by the way eonnie, can I go back a bit early today? I need to meet my friend for a while. And I also will work from for tomorrow. I will take some important documents with me. Is it okay? — Hanbyul asks.

"It's okay for now. I will just tell people that you took emergency leave. Usually, we don't hire full time writer to work on our office. Yours is just the special case to cover up your identity. So there should be no problem about that." — Haeyoung approves it.

Hanbyul walks to Mingyu's restaurant after locking her car safely. Her handbag is on her right arm and before walking, she fixes her hair by looking at her reflection on her car's mirror.

She pushes the glass door open and walks to the right side of the restaurant. She naturally sits on the seat in front of Mingyu.

"Ya Zhang Hanbyul!" — Mingyu shouts before gets up from his chair and walks to Hanbyul. He pulls Hanbyul up from her chair and hugs her to his embrace.

"I miss you so so much! How long was it been?" — He asks after letting her go from his tight hug.

"I think it was for 6 months right?" — Hanbyul replies with her thumb and point fingers are put under her chin, like she is thinking. 🤔

"Yes. Oh, he already discharged from the hospital?" — Mingyu asks and setting himself back to his seat.

Hanbyul also makes herself sits in front of Mingyu and she orders her drink.

"Yeap. But he still cannot used to everything yet. He stills need help with most of his daily activities. He always makes me furious about how his condition is at home." — Hanbyul explains after she managed to order.

"So, you come back just because of him?" — Mingyu finally asks that.

"Of course no! I came here just because of my mother-in-law. I don't want her to take all of these responsibilities that he forcefully left behind just because of his illness." — Hanbyul denies Mingyu's words.

"But, you guys can grow closer because of this? Aren't you said that time is going to be his last chance?" — Mingyu questions.

"I am not planning to give him any chance and I will let the situation bring us to where we belong to. If we are meant to be, it will be. If not, I will continue with my life like usual."

"I already look at the picture you send to me before. He still got chance to recover and pull through his situation right now but it will takes extra time because there was some slight depression detected from his chart. You should not let him get stress with it. Support him okay?" — Mingyu explains to her with what he knew.

"I know. In fact I am the one who takes over his job on the company. It was really tiring and I even got extra job scope to cover up my identity. I really hope I can get used to this really fast." — Hanbyul tell him with her whining tone that she usually only use towards people who are close with her.

"You want to know something about him?" — Mingyu asks while playing with his left eyebrows ups and downs sneakily.

"I think he was jealous with me!!!" — Mingyu starts excitedly.

"Heol. How in the world that happened? Impossible! You got to be kidding me dark kid!" — Hanbyul scolds him before landing her slap on his arm.

"Ahh! Apa!" — Mingyu screams while distancing himself to his back more, increasing the gaps more with Hanbyul.

"It's true Byullie! Two days after you went to China, he came here and we got ourselves into a fight and I punch him on his face for making my friend suffer! Not only that, he frequently came here after that to constantly check on me. I think he wonders if I'd lie to him before. But thanks to him, I got lots of customers when his fans found out he oftens here."
