I was supposed to be the bride tonight. I was supposed to be happy. I was supposed to go home with my ring on my finger and my husband.
But, none of that happened tonight. It was the total opposite compared to what I had imagined this day to be.
Jeon Jungkook had picked that girl instead of me.
I was walking down the isle that was covered in pink rose pedals. I was about to meet Jungkook at the end of the stage when that girl came running onto the stage.
"Kookieee I thought you said you'll never marry her." She whines shaking Jungkook's arm.
Jungkook stood there in absolute shock as he looked at me. "Y/n this is not what it looks like. Let me explain I- I-...."
"Kookie stop. Just tell her that you never loved her and that you only love me." The girl said with a smirk on her face.
I stood there as people watched in horror. My legs felt weak. I was burning up.
"Enough! I don't care who this girl standing in front of you is, but you have to decide right now if you want to get married to daughter or not!" My dad glared at Jungkook. He never really liked him, but I've always insisted that he was good person.
I have fallen in love with someone that didn't love me back. He had been with another girl behind my back. I had given him everything I had, but in the end he tricked me.
"I'm sorry Mr. Jung." He bowed as he tightly gripped the girls hand and walked off the stage and out of the door.
I fell to the ground devastated. I couldn't believe that Jungkook left me for someone else. I've been blinded this whole time. I've been tricked.
My legs failed me and I fell to the ground as tears came rushing down my face onto the pink petals. I was scared to trust anyone.
I cared for Jungkook everyday. He never let me go out so I stayed at home doing chores. We had a gigantic house together.
Everyday, I made sure that his suit was ironed nicely and that his tie matched whatever even he was attending. I made sure that his shoes were polished to the point where the light reflected off of it.
In the mornings, I woke up early to make him breakfast. I always though that it was true love even though we did not spend a lot of time together because he was the ceo of a big company, so he was always busy.
Some nights he did not come home to eat the dinner he prepared for me. He wouldn't pick up my calls and when he did, he would tell me that he's busy at his office doing work.
I had always thought that he wanted to build his company and make it stable. I thought everything would change once we got married.
But behind my back, he always had a girl. I girl who he spent time with everyday. I girl who he kissed and hugged. I was naive.
