Emi Fukukado[Ms. Joke]

- She grew up in a nasty neighborhood due to the lack of money to have a nicer home. She lived in poverty pretty much but that never really phased her. She never looks back on her childhood with sad eyes, she's actually content with it.

- She grew up around dangerous substances and occurrences(ie, drugs, alcohol, and crime) but that never really bothered her either.

- Her father was always around to care for her and protect her. Her mother was hardly ever around due to her ambitions to be a successful comedian. She also had her grandfather but she never really liked him(it was just the case of "old man has no sense of humor" type deal. She didn't like people that didn't laugh at her jokes. She was a petty kid).

- In her old neighborhood she grew up to hearing fights both using quirks and fire arms so she was pretty used to that. In fact, she thought those were normal ordeals that would go on in ALL neighborhoods and homes. It wasn't until she went to UA when she found out the truth.

- She was homeschooled for her elementary school years and then enrolled into an okay middle school. It wasn't a bad school nor was it a good school. A school is a school though and she did pull through it as the 2nd top student in her class.

- She gets her quirk from her mother but it is slightly different. Her mother's quirk— Blessful laughter— makes the target laugh and it increases the dopamine levels in their brain for a limited time(the time frame varies between person to person, but its usually 48 hours).

- Her father's quirk is Cognitive paralysis. He can simply numb a person's functionality(in the brain, the body will still be able to move however it just typically relaxes and/or the knees give out) just by touching the target's forehead. Although, it does have negative effects on the user. As a result of this quirk, Emi's dad has become numb to most sensations(aka a lot of sensory nerves/receptors in his body have been severely damaged. This side effect is most likely due to his own quirk slowly attacking him).

- When times are tough she laughs it out and bottles it up.

- She started off in general studies but fought her way into the hero class through the sports festival.

- When Emi was 18, in the middle of her 3rd year of UA and during holiday break, her parents unfortunately split up after a major fight. She ended up having a falling out with her mother and still hardly speaks to her to this day. She still has an okay relationship with her father but they hardly talk anymore.

- Bisexual beauty. However she does desire a cute girlfriend more so than a boyfriend, but she can still go either way!

- She had several joke books she bought from thrift stores and book shops. She still has most of them to this day actually! Her favorite is a corny Halloween joke book!

- After her grandfather passed away when she was 9, her father gained ownership of his bar. There weren't many customer coming in, even when her grandpa had ownership, but there are the same 5 or so customers that come in and keep the place afloat. Emi likes to think she helped the business with funny jokes she told everyday.

- She lived in an apartment all her own during her three years of UA. The principal at the time knew of her situation with money and and struck a deal with the land lord there, letting him pay the rent and letting her stay there. He simply believed in kids getting the education they deserve.

- She developed a crush on Aizawa during the second year sports festival(she watched the 2nd yr festival, she didn't participate because she was in her 1st yr) and asked him to a Halloween party the following October. He of course turned her down but did offer her a seat at his and his friend's lunch table as he did feel sorta bad for turning her down. Ever since then she found it funny to jokingly flirt with him.

This is all the HCs I have for Emi in all honesty. I do have some Shigaraki ones I wanna share but I think I'm gonna wait until the current arc in the manga is over to actually share them. We got a lot of back story on him and now I feel like I need to rethink those HCs as most of them have to do with his childhood before AFO. Eh, whatever.
