When Tin woke up, he was even more disoriented than the first time around.

He had returned to the backroom after the demonstration – the nice knitting lady had let him in, and had even volunteered to take a message to his friends for him, so he could sleep some more.

Now, the warm sunlight of early morning poured into the office, making the entire night, meeting Master Kirakorn and watching the punishment demonstration, look like a surreal dream. Something out of a novella by Arthur Schnitzler, fever dreams of Vienna at night.

However, stretching himself reminded him of the blue rope harness that he still wore, a clear sign of the reality of it all.

He sat up and was surprised that he still didn't feel constricted by the ropes. When he slowly loosened them, like Can had shown him the night before, and pulled them over his head, he was stricken how relaxed and bendable his shoulders felt.

He couldn't believe that he had actually slept on a couch.

Uncharacteristically of him – knowing that after the successful deal the day before there wouldn't be a ton of work waiting for him at the office – he didn't rush to leave this place.

He was even perceptive enough to notice the door in the far-end corner he hadn't seen in the dim light yesterday, conveniently labelled bathroom.

After relieving himself and using the sink to wash not just his hands, but his face as well, he got dressed in his suit from the day before, and found the business card Can had given to him still in his wallet.

He quickly saved the number in his phone, so he could call if the door was closed, and was finally ready to go.

However, when he stepped outside into the cool morning air, he immediately spotted Can sitting at one of the garden tables at the edges of yesterday's dancefloor – everything reminding of the party must already have been cleaned up, it now looked like a nice open courtyard, or a secret garden. He had enough food in front of him to feed a small army and happily waved Tin over when he saw him.

It was almost inconceivable that this cheerful, boyish guy was the same as the awe-inspiring Master of this entire club he had witnessed last night. Particularly when he urged Tin to sit down at the table and smilingly offered to have breakfast with him.

Tin would be stupid not to take such an invitation – he had wanted to have an opportunity to talk to Can again, and after seeing who he was during the entire evening program, Tin would probably not have had the courage to seek him out again, if he hadn't found him like this.

He thanked him not just for the invitation, but also for the memorable experience last night.

"Oh, you're very welcome, Tin. Thank you for giving me your trust. But come on, let's eat. The food is getting cold."

Can evidently was a strong believer in breakfast as a full meal, the different Thai and Chinese dishes he had assembled in front of him could just as well have served as a selection at a buffet-style dinner party.

"So... You own... all this?"

Can nodded and laughed.

"Hard to believe sometimes, I know. But yes, this entire club belongs to me. No bank loans anymore, either. It's not much, but it's something."

In Tin's not unprofessional eye – he was the son of a Real Estate tycoon after all, even if he had severed that connection already – this was more than just something. The location was good, the buildings were solid, and the atmosphere in the club, its offer, unique.
