IT'S A VERY IMPORTANT DAY FOR THE FOUR YEAR OLD. Or, now four year old should we say.

Rosie Rame Evergreen. Just turned Four years old this morning and her mother, Maya Evergreen was thrilled for her. After getting her first job since her pregnancy, she has managed to buy a, what most kids would call a mediocre birthday present. However, Rosie wasn't most kids.

A smart individual, no, genius. This toddler knows more about mythology and quantum realms than most could even comprehend. Not to mention her skills in mechanics and technology. Maya wasn't surprised. She knew she would surpass her peers very, very quickly.

The sun peered through the holes of Rosie's cheap sheer curtains, letting her emerald eyes flutter open. At first, no excitement resigned with her. That is intel she saw her mother knock on her door frame with a small wrapped box.

Her tired eyes glistened with joy and her smile beamed. Maya laughed at her genuine reaction, plopping onto her springy bed.

"So. Do you know what day it is?" She asked. Rosie nodded quickly, flickering her eyes between the present and her mother. "Martin Luther Kings birthday, right?" Maya joked. Rosie tilted her head with a silly grin. Her baby teeth were still growing in, making her smiles brighten up Maya's world.

"I'm kidding. But... I did get you something for you know... Rosie's birthday." She handed her the box to which Rosie beamed even wider at, If that was possible.

Believe it or not, this is the first birthday present the girl has ever had. Most would find this bazaar, some even abusive. Though, the situation is nothing like that. Maya simply didn't have the money. And she hated it. Not even having change for ice cream or any extra food. She felt like the worst mother ever, even though she would die to make the little girl in front of her happy.

Rosie tore the box open. At first, when her eyes laid on the gift, she was confused.

A charm bracelet. With an R, a star, and a delicate owl.

All of which were beautifully crafted and placed ever so nicely on a golden chain. "Mommy?" Rosie said, inspecting her gift.

"Do you like it?" Maya asked hopefully, leaning on closer for an answer.

Rosie nodded, but still was very lost. So her mother elaborated.
