Just Us (Sophitz)

Chapter 1 : Everglen

Sophie slowly opened her eyes ,the view of the pinkish sky was clear from her canopy bed. A small stiff knock on her door snapped her to reality and as the door creaked open and Edaline popped her head into Sophie's bedroom.

"Hey Soph , I made some breakfast" ,as she enters the room the smell of mallow melt immediately spread.

She straighten her back and graciously took the mallow melt from Edaline.

She finished the last bit of mallow melt and placed the plate on her bedside table. She had loved mallow melt since she first arrived in the Lost Cities just the sight of it made her hungry.

Sophie got up and out of bed as she headed over to the floor length mirror ,Vertina. "Someone looks like they just lived a whole lifetime with no sleep" the girls face appeared in the top corner giving a smirk and receiving a 'I will shatter you' glare as Sophie went to her closet and Vertina disappeared.

She returned wearing her usual clothes and went back over to the disencouraging mirror to look at her outfit and began combing her hair ,but when she looked at her face she noticed Vertina hadn't lied ,she had dark circles under her eyes and her lips were chapped 'great'.

She hadn't got much sleep over the last week. From all the nightmares about being attacked and having to face the neverseen once again...somehow and her head clustered with the thought of Fitz the boy who rescued her from her human family ,his dark brown hair and the twinkle in his bright teal eyes ,yeah maybe she was a little obsessed with the handsome boy but who couldn't be. After knowing someone for almost 3 years you could at least get used to his charming appearance ,but for Sophie that was a lost cause.

She snapped back to reality and wiped a small bit of drool forming in the corner of her lip and prayed Vertina hadn't noticed ,but the only thing she did was make a suspicious glare and vanish.

She grabbed the small box of makeup she had been given from her best friend Biana and covered her dark circles with concealer and added a coat of chap stick to her lips. She exited her room and was closely followed by her tall and muscular goblin body guard,who looked like he had expected someone around every corner after every turn. She couldn't complain because that was the normal Sandor ,always trying to protect her which does get pretty annoying but she is still very grateful.

She found a piece of paper and pen as she wrote a small and quick note on the parchment...

Dear Edaline and Grady ,

I'm going to Everglen ,Biana invited me the other day I'll be back before dinner.

As she re read her note she left the parchment on the counter and began to hurry upstairs to the Leapmaster.She grabbed sandor's hand and yelled
"Everglen!" as she stepped into the light as it whisked her away.

Hey I hope you enjoyed the first chapter ,I don't know how many chapters I'm gonna be doing but I'm still adding on to it

Although I want to get at least 20 chapters which will be 2 or 3x longer than this. (Roughly 1000 words each) Which is why these might take a while so
