Episode Eleven: Accepting

Kevin's POV:

Jimmy looked at both me and Edd as he held the closet door open.

"Sarah's been looking for both of you. She just went outside to kill Ed for breaking the vase."

Edd stood up really quickly. I think he got dizzy and he stumbled down again.

"W-we.." Edd turned to look at me. His face bright red. "We were looking for a broom to clean up the glass. Haha.."

I fidgeted, I was upset that I didn't get to hear what he was going to say.

"Yea. We..umm heard the crash and came up here real fast."

Jimmy stared at us suspiciously.

"Okay guys..well come down. We are playing games!" Jimmy smiled as he pushed us out of the closet.

"I'm kind of tired." I yawned. I stayed up pretty late thinking about..Edd.

"Oh okay. Bye Kevin!" Jimmy waved as I went down the stairs and out the door. I could feel Double D's eyes on me.

Oh well...

Edd's POV:

Gahh..how could he just confess to me and leave...

I kept my stare on Kevin as he left. I felt myself shaking from nerves. I tidied myself up and followed Jimmy outside.

"Double D! Hi!" Nazz walked up to me, giving me a hug. I blushed. Nazz is a very pretty girl...

"H-hello Nazz" I followed her to a table. She seemed quite excited I was here.

Maybe she knows about Kevin...

"Haha..so...Double D...what do you think about Kevin?" That was very direct.

"Umm I.." I struggled to find a though. What do I think of Kevin?

Kevin's POV:

The sunlight sparkled through my window onto my face. Leave me alone! I sat up on my bed, wiping my eyes.

Maybe that was just a dream...where I confessed to Edd. It couldn't have been. I looked out my window to Edd's room. Surprisingly, he was sitting near there, reading a book.

I stared at a him for a long time until I noticed he was staring back. I smiled at him only to be returned with a sad face.

Huh?

MONDAY

I want to ask Edd about his answer. I hope this was enough time.

I saw him walking down the hallway. His black beanie jumping up and down as he walked. I raised my hand for him.

He saw me. He saw me and he turned and ran. He hates me.

I was heartbroken as I walked to second period. My classes went by fast as now was the time for lunch.

Again I saw the dork. He seemed lost in thought, so I stood in front of him.

Edd's POV:

"W-wha? I'm so sorry! I didn't see.." I stumbled as I had run into someone. No, it's Kevin!

"Hey dork. Why'd you avoid me this morning?" Why does he have to be do direct...

"I-I didn't...I just.." I looked down. Why did I avoid meeting him?

"Look dork.." I looked up at him. He was glaring at me. His eyes seemed sad. His cheeks were pink.

Kevin sighed as he put his hands in his pockets. "I meant it...what I said. It's true. I really do like you."

My eyes grew. So it is true.

"I just want an answer from you" Kevin stated as he avoided my eyes. He looked nervous which is rare.

"Do you like me?"

"I-I uhh.." I looked down. "I think I like you too"

"R-Really?!" I heard Kevin say happily as he lifted my head.

"Double D..."

We looked at each other lovingly. I do like Kevin. I smiled. I do.
