after the video explaining everything, included why every contestant was there and how they got there, he left his room thinking of why they didn't say the reason why the youngest kid who was 13 was there, he arrived to the kitchen and poured some water in a cup, then drank it, it was a two floored mansion so he looked up to see some of the other kids leaving their rooms completely terrified and most of them crying
the first one to approach him was a guy that looked probably the same age as him "guys" he said trying to sound confident but his voice cracked
he cleared his throat and tried again "guys, my name is choi seungcheol, i am 17 and i think that before we do anything we should all introduce ourselves, i- we are- this is a lot to take in but if we're together, we might figure out a plan or- i- we can stay together" he said loudly hoping others would hear him
about 7 of the boys walked downstairs quickly looking empty inside "my- my name is hong jisoo, my korean isn't very good- and i- i'm 17 too" a boy said
the rest of the boys arrived and they all introduced themselves, except jeonghan who just said "jeonghan, 17" he didn't want to talk to anyone until he knew what he would do
they started coming up with a plan but only two of them were quiet, him and other boy whom he recognized from the picture of the video, he was the youngest and he was 13
"it might be complicated but i think it can work" wonwoo said after they had planned their escape mission
"it won't" chan said
"what?" seungkwan said worriedly
"it won't, i know the host, it's impossible, you guys will have to die, the best you can do is kill yourselves or- i don't know i-" he couldn't finish cause he started sobbing "i'm so scared" he whispered in his tears
the guy beside him rubbed his shoulder and some joined his crying, but jeonghan just stayed there examining everyone and trying to choose the order in which he was going to kill them just in case he had to kill them, which wasn't ideal considering his rule
after some hours they all swore they wouldn't kill anyone and then left to their rooms, he noticed two going together to the same room and immediately decided they were first, it would be harder to kill them all if they made teams
he wrote down a list "hansol, seungkwan, mingyu, seungcheol, wonwoo, jihoon, jisoo, minghao, chan, junhui, soonyoung and seokmin" that was the best order
he was about to leave his room to get some food but heard a knock on the door, he grabbed a gun and hid it under his pillow while waiting silently for someone to come in
the door was opened to reveal the 13 year old boy "i'm not here to hurt you, i'm unarmed" he said quickly and put his hands up in the air in complete fright
jeonghan raised an eyebrow "why are you here?" he asked curiously, he questioned everything the boy did
"i- i want you to kill me, please kill me, i can't live like this, it's over for me, i'm not going to win and i chose you to give me a quick death since i know you're trustworthy" he explained and gulped
"what?" jeonghan replied "why are you here? in this show? you're the only one who's reason wasn't mentioned" he said
"look- i-" he was about to start explaining when they suddenly heard a gunshot and then a loud crash
everyone left their rooms quickly and ran towards the sound of the crash but what they saw was traumatizing for nearly everyone
seokmin was on the floor with a bullet right across his head, a lot of gasps and horrified cries were heard including chan who nearly vomited and then sobbed loudly
jeonghan was the first one to approach the body and read the note that was beside him "i had no reason left to live, i had no hope, i decided to speed up the process and may the winner leave soon" he read out loud
nearly everyone was crying except mingyu and jeonghan"leave him there" he sighed "the body will be removed soon, they said it in the video" he continued and then walked back to chan
everyone returned to their rooms except chan who followed jeonghan "i- i don't want to end up like that i- please- please kill me- this is- i can't-" he sobbed
jeonghan sighed "look, let's team up, i swear no one else will die, we'll get out of here" he lied not knowing why, was he feeling compassionate?
chan started sobbing harder "will you protect me? we can't escape- i know it- i-" he chocked out
"how are you so sure?" the older asked
"my parents are the hosts of the show" the other said
