I stayed home the next day from school because I was avoiding Betty. I wasn't in the mood for her questions. However, around noon there was a knock on the trailer door. I opened it, it was Alice Cooper. "Roxy." She smiled and it creeped me out, "Can I come in?"

"Sure." I sighed, letting her in.

"I wanted to thank you for gathering the Serpents to help us yesterday. I also wanted you to hear from me personally that I am done attacking and disavowing the Southside. It's where I'm from, and I should be proud of that. And from now on, I will be. And like my daughter, I will fight tooth and nail for it." She told me.

"She wants to become a serpent." I told her. "I think it's a stupid idea for her to. Not because I hate her. Look, you know this but most kids from the southside have a shitty upbringing and the Serpents are all we have. I joined the Serpents because they were the only family I had after Penny killed my twin brother. I was 12. I am pissed at Betty because she has the options I will never have and she's throwing it away for my brother. She is a talented writer, there is no denying it, I've read her work in the Blue and Gold dozens of times. You know better than anyone the Serpent life isn't ideal, if she wants to be a Serpent make sure she is one-hundred percent sure she wants to and that it is for her and not for my brother. I just don't want her to make a decision she regrets for the rest of her life."

"Do you regret ever being a Serpent?" Alice asked me.

"No and I never will. The Serpents are the family I always needed." I told her, "Without the Serpents I wouldn't have met Sweet Pea, the love of my life."

"I can see how you're FP's kid now." She told me.

"How so?" I asked.

"You would do anything for the people you love and would do anything to protect them. I should know because I dated him in high school." She informed me.

"He really does have a thing for blondes, doesn't he?" I chuckled.

"You are not wrong." She chuckled as well, "I also knew when he was trying to protect the people he cared about. Roxy, what's going on?"

"Did Jughead put you up to this?" I asked her.

"No and neither did Betty. However, she did mention the verbal beating you gave her, which I do not approve but in my Serpent days I would have agreed with you."

"I found out the Ghoulies are getting out soon because you know how Penny is good at getting people released from prison," I began.

"And you didn't inform the Serpents?" She asked.

"They know but what I am about to tell you doesn't leave this room." Then I told her my plan.

"Nobody is gonna approve of your plan." She told me.

"I know which is why it is gonna be kept a secret until it happens." I told her.

"Roxy, you could die. What about FP, Sweet Pea, or even Jughead?" She asked.

"It's for them, it's for the Serpents." I told her. The next few weeks passed quickly. Everyone was getting ready for Carrie the Musical. Fangs was Kevin's assistant and I kinda ship it. The opening night of the musical Sweets and I went to go support Toni and Fangs. I will admit Kevin asked me to be the understudy for Carrie White, I don't get why, but I declined. I don't do musical theatre. They did well but I didn't expect Alice Cooper to be in it. Alice was singing and when the line came and Carrie was supposed to come out, the door lifted and it revealed a dead Midge Klump. Everyone was screaming and panicking because there was a message from the Black hood written in blood. I never talked to Midge, I knew her as I vixen but Sweets, Fangs, Toni and I went to the funeral out of respect. Cheryl made a speech since she was a vixen. The days following were crazy and everyone was mourning and everyone was being questioned. Then we had to deal with a rumor. A rumor of Midge cheating on her boyfriend with a Serpent. The Bulldogs then decided to crash a Serpent meeting.
