Karen cried for a few seconds on Ville’s chest, while his arms were wrapped around her, and he gently stroke her head; sometimes he would give her little kisses on the forehead. Then out of nowhere stood up fast, taking his arms off of her. He stared at her in shock.

“Oh my God, I’m so sorry for that! I didn’t mean to ruin the night for you.” She said franticly wiping the tears on her face. He opened his mouth to say something.

“It’s…” She interrupted him.

“It’s just that you kept asking, and then I started remembering, and I just couldn’t stop, and…” Now he interrupted her.

“But sweetheart, I really…”

“No! Don’t say anything! I ruined the night for you and now I feel guilty.” She remained silent for a few seconds, walking in circles in front of the bench where Ville was sitting staring at her with a sweet smile on his face. He stood up and walked towards her.

“Listen to me, sweetheart.” He said while gently putting both of his hands on her face so she could look straight into his eyes. “You didn’t ruin the night for me. Actually, so far I think it’s going perfect. And I’m glad you told me your story, now I know you a little better and I would like to know everything about you, if you allow me.” He said with a sincere smile on his face. Karen remained quiet for a few seconds, and then weakly smiled back at him.

“Thanks.” She slightly started to blush. “But next time, try not to unleash the monster, ok?”

“Ok, sweetheart, I promise.” He said laughing out loud.

The two of them started to walk away, with no specific direction and in complete silence. While doing so feel Ville would take a glance at her every once in a while. She started yawning; she watched at her clock for the hour, and realized it was really late.

“God! It’s 3:30 in the morning! Can you freaking believe that?”  She said surprised to Ville.

“Well, time does fly when you’re having fun.” He said by raising an eyebrow, making her smile. A few seconds passed and he noticed she had become thoughtful.

“So… The night’s still young! Do you want to do anything else?” She said with a big smile on her face, too big to be true. She didn’t want to go home yet. In fact, she didn’t want to go home ever again. Ville noticed she was trying to avoid something; maybe going home.

“Hmm… Would you like going to my apartment and watch a movie, maybe?” He asked her, trying to get her away from whatever it was she was trying to avoid.

“If it’s not too much trouble.” She said blushing.

“Not at all sweetheart, not at all.” He replied happily.

Both of them walked through the still lightly soaked streets of West Chester, Pennsylvania. Karen had her arms wrapped around her body because of the cold weather; Ville noticed this, so he wrapped his own arms around her shoulders to keep her warm. They walked for a couple of minutes, finally arriving to a medium seized building complex. They entered the building and went five floors up. Ville put a key into the doorknob, and hold it open for her.

“Welcome to my humble abode.” He said grinning, gesturing for her to get in.

“Why, thank you.” She said while entering the apartment.

“Well sweetheart, I have to use the toilet, make yourself at home.”

As he entered the bathroom she started to scan the place, noticing there were a couple of jeans on the ground, and ashtrays rested on every single table placed in the apartment. This one wasn’t too big; it was the perfect place for one person to live in, even two souls, maybe. In the kitchen were a couple of whiskeys and beer bottles. She went to the living room and sat on a couch, looking at the table in front, which kept a DVD of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” on it. She smiled.
