Chapter 20

I woke up to TJ getting up.

"Where you going" I asked him

"I gotta go pick up Onyx from my moms house" he said sliding on his kappa slides

"Okay are you coming to school tomorrow?"

"Girl yeah I gotta graduate" he said smiling

I nodded my head and he walked over and kissed my cheek

"I'll se you later" he said walking out my room

"See you later" I laid back down getting my phone to see it was only 6 so we didn't sleep that long but I also seen Myrah weak ass texted me

I shook my head remembering everything I got up and went to my brothers room knocking on the door I heard a slight "come in"

"Hey Ty" I said sitting on his bed while he was sitting at his desk

"Hey" he said turning to look at me

I can tell he was hurt by ts cause lowkey I am too.

"How you feeling?" I asked him

"I'm okay, I'm just worried about you that's all" he said sitting next to me

"What about you and Myrah" I asked

"Fuck allat ion care I been in a few relationships and once they leave they come back. I just worried about you and your safety"

"I'll be okay bro you don't gotta worry to much" I said putting my head on his shoulder

"How are you and taliban?" He asked

"We are good actually we getting back to how we were" I said smiling to myself

"I'm glad to hear that sis, and what about his baby you okay with that" he asked

"Yeah the baby didn't do anything to me so-

I was cut off by his phone ringing he looked at it and rolled his eyes showing it was Myrah. He told me be quiet as he answered

"Hello"

"Hey bae what you doing" as she said that his face mugged

"Nothing Im js chillin why wsp?"

"I was going to ask if you've talked to Kali today" I shook my head and he went along with it

"No not yet I don't think she's here right now tbh" he said

"oh okay well when you see her tell her to call me" she said hanging up

I just rolled my eyes and he sat looked at me

"So how we finna do this shit and school" he asked

"Well me I'm finna act like they don't exist sooo"

"Sounds good...you hungry" he asked me

I nodded my head and he got up and grabbed his keys causing me to run to my room and put on my crocs and we were on our way to get food.

TJ POV
I got to my moms house and seen my amazing son sleeping on the couch. I walked past him and too my moms room.

"Hey ma" I spoke

"Hey son how was school I missed you" she said getting up to hug me

I live with KJ we moved out a little after the situation because we didn't know if shorty or her ppls knew anything so just in case we left to keep my mama house safe.

"It was good and I missed you too" I hugged her back

"Onyx drew a picture of y'all" she showed my a paper with some stick figures on there

I smiled at it and put it under my phone so I wouldn't forget it.

"Mom I'm in love with this girl and she makes me so happy. We been through some things but I don't want that to effect us we good now. I want her to meet Onyx but what if she ends up leaving and he's attached to her and it breaks him. Yk how he's already been asking about his mom" I said laying back

"You talking about Kaliyah" she said smiling softly at me as I nodded my head "son if you are in love with that girl then you to press the issue, make her yours, and if she really loves you she wouldn't mind taking over that mother role but don't force it on her because y'all are still young" she said making my take in everything that was being said to me

"I told her what happened to me" I said thinking of how kali reacted

"And what did she say" she said rubbing my forehead

"She cried with me and she gave me comfort. She told me I was a good dad and to keep going for him" I said smiling to myself

"You are an amazing dad your son is only 3 and he has a 5 year olds academic skills your doing amazing with him, I think you should let her meet him" she told me

"Yeah maybe one day, but I gotta head to the house so I can get ready for school tomorrow I'll drop him off in the morning" I said giving her a hug and kiss on her forehead.

She gave me a hug back and i grabbed my phone and the picture Onyx drew. I walked to the living room to get Onyx but he wasn't there anymore and I got a little scared.

"Onyx?" I semi yelled

"Yes daddy, im using the bathroom" he yelled down the hall

I felt relief after hearing him yell back and I sat on the couch waiting for him so we can go.

"Hey big man" he said giving me a hug

"Hey little man, how was your day" I said grabbing his backpack and his hand

"It was good me and grandma watched all of the toy stories but she said to save the number 4 one so we can watch it together cause it's your favorite" he said as we walked to the car

"Yes it is maybe we can watch it on Saturday?" I asked grabbing his booster seat from the trunk

"Yeah is your friend going to watch it with us?" He asked me which made me slowly close the trunk

"What friend" I asked

"The girl, I heard you and grandma talking I would like to meet her" he said moving his dreads out of his face

My smile went from a low one to a huge one

"Yeah I'll see if she can come" I said picking him up to put him in his seat.

He clapped his hands and started dancing as I fixed the seat belt and it made me laugh a little. I ran to the drivers side and started the car up going to the house.

A/n: and I work like a dog day and night living off of a coffee pot none of you wanna touchhhh. I'm jk I'm jk😂😂.
