"The stars were the only thing I could see in that consternated dark as I left the university late after the function,it was almost midnight and the CNG strike added more to my apprehensiveness.

When I was walking on the footpath, I heard some muffled chattering probably from my behind. I turned around to look but there was nothing I shrugged and started to walk again, just after maybe 10 seconds I heard a voice of a feminine yell from my behind and footsteps running towards me. I turned again and finally saw that girl, she was running and breathing heavily. Seeing her my first instinct was to hide behind a car, My frown got even more darker when my eyes got clapped on three more guys chasing her. I literally gasped in horror at their sight but apart from this, helping that girl was obviously more important for me but the thing was HOW???

She suddenly collapsed on the ground, panting and It drew my breath when they seized her.

it's really painful to see such incidents in front of your eyes and specially when you can't do anything just to keep yourself safe but still I had to do something.

Something quickly rang in my mind and I moved my hand toward my satchel hanging on my shoulder, I took my phone out and called police as soon as possible but there on the other side the guys were already dragging her mercilessly on the road while I could clearly hear her whimpering growls, I was cursing those guys under my breath even I knew that it was completely of no use but it was the only thing I could do at that time.

Gathering a lot of courage, I hurled the small stone on their other side which made them alert, the two of the men went on the other side to make sure if there was anyone or not, after that there was only a single man there who maybe was their boss and God knows what came into my mind and I stood up unknowingly to what would happen to me after this but still I went toward him and stood in front of him, feeling my presence he suddenly left that girl and looked up at me.

My heart was literally racing in its cage.

I was unable to exhale when he looked up at me and smirked making me almost dumbfound. This time I was cursing myself on my heroinepanti, well now the arrow had left its bow and I was standing firmly in front of my death, I knew I would definitely die but still I was standing steadfast hardly controlling my fear which was continuously refusing to be hidden from my face and heart thumping hard in my chest.

I really don't remember any event more dreadful than this which I was facing then.

"Please let her go" I stated-cum-pleaded. He "chuckled" at my sentence, stared me for a moment and started to move toward me.
I can bet I have put my ass into a sling.
My fingers clenched into a fist and eyes tightly closed, jaws clenched. I breathed in when he circled me, gaping.

"Bari himmat hai tujh mei..is ki jagah tujhe ley chaloon kia" He spat pulling my chin up with a half smile on his face. His hand traveled to my tresses which made me infuriated more than frighten.

"Keep aloof! Dekho apni hadd mei raho.. tmhe andaza nhi hai mei kia kar skti hon" I said gritting my teeth and jerked his hand down. I could see his face changing its expression. This was when I saw his other two partners already standing behind him seizing the girl and passing evils to me.

All of sudden he rushed towards me and clapped hold of my hair under his rough, hard grip making a fist of my hair, it seemed all of my hair were being tugged out from their roots I couldn't help but groan in extreme pain.
