It's a week before they're invited to another award show.Jihyo grows restless, having to sit through hours' worth of performances and countless awards. Don't get her wrong – she likes the thrill of award shows, from the pretty outfits, the red carpet, the fresh and old faces in the industry, to winning awards and getting recognition for their hard work.
Jihyo likes award shows. Just not today.
The nine of them flew in yesterday from Japan where they did a fan signing event and filmed commercials. They've barely caught up on sleep when they're woken up to cram a new choreography for their performance.
They're are all running on empty, the caffeine in their system the only thing keeping them alive.
Still, Jihyo straightens her back, waving brightly to the fans on the side. This has been her dream, and she'll face it all, both the ups and downs.
She glances subtly to the front seats where Min Yoongi's sitting. The only thing she's grateful for is that it'll be easy to meet him.
She's getting her ring back today, that's for sure.

Yoongi kept his promise and told Namjoon, Jin and Jimin about the entire jacket incident—of course, with them badgering him to tell them about it. When Yoongi finally tells them, Namjoon looks him in the eye, tells him he's crazy and makes him promise not to do it again. Jin and Jimin agree with him, but when they're alone Jimin admits that he's curious about her identity too.
It doesn't matter anyway, Yoongi thinks. He's never going to find out.
They're in their dressing room now, packing up and having a late dinner. Hoseok, Taehyung and Jimin are animatedly talking about something he can't be bothered to find out, Jungkook's watching something on his phone, and Jin's focused eating. Meanwhile, Namjoon's out somewhere.
Yoongi occupies a couch in the corner with his headphones on. He picks up a rice roll with his chopsticks and pops it into his mouth. As he chews, he plays his song.
It's a work in progress. He's finished composing the music, but there aren't any lyrics yet. It's supposed to be a love song, but nothing comes to mind as he tries writing.
Which isn't surprising. He doesn't really have any sort of love life to speak of.
He takes his headphones off with a sigh. Right on cue, the door opens and their manager's head pops in.
"Yoongi." He calls sharply, the same tone he uses when one of them's in trouble. He turns at the mention of his name. "Someone wants to see you."
The door opens wider, revealing a short-haired girl he doesn't recognize in a white shirt and jeans. Yoongi blinks, rice roll halfway to his mouth.
