Jihyo didn't really mean for it to happen so fast but after that day, it was just one text after the other.

Moving past the initial awkward stage, a good morning soon turned into a what are you doing, which escalated to chatting throughout the day until she's back at the dorm getting ready to sleep. And then they'd end up calling because they're too tired to text, and Jihyo finds herself in a routine she doesn't mind getting used to.

She didn't even notice how much they'd been talking until Nayeon tells her offhandedly that she's been so glued to her phone these days. After that, she tries to be less obvious, texting when she's in the bathroom or when she's alone.

It's a high risk, but her days have never been brighter.

In a span of three weeks she got to know Min Yoongi in a whole new way. She even looked him up on the internet and stalked him through his pictures just to imagine who she's talking to because it feels a little unreal at times.

He's the Min Yoongi, after all.

So far what Jihyo's been able to tell aside from him being incredibly talented is that he's actually a harmless guy despite first impressions.

He's four years older (Jihyo calls him "old man" and gets called a "brat" in return), pretty much lives in his studio, was a student council member, has a poodle named Holly, and by how he talks about his members, Jihyo can tell he loves them.

Not that Jihyo's memorized all of this.

But above everything, it's just refreshing to have a friend who understands her lifestyle, and it's both fun and comforting to have someone she can talk to outside the group about her life.

And it's not like they had a lot of time to chat. His schedule's pretty much booked him for the year and Jihyo has their two-day concert coming up soon which means that she and the girls are practically living in the practice room, doing dress fittings, or on some promotion schedule.

She's tired when she wakes up and tired when she goes to sleep. Jihyo can't remember the last time she's had a full eight hours of sleep.

Still, as the leader, she has to keep her head up, knowing this routine's been taking a toll on all the members. As the leader, there's nothing else to do except persevere.

Now, they've just finished a full run-through of the concert and were ready to call it a day.

Jihyo hands down pain relief patches to the members, all spread out on the practice room.

Sana and Nayeon can't be bothered to stand and are sprawled on the floor while Momo's getting her legs stretched by Tzuyu.

Jihyo checks the time on her screen, seeing that it's a little past nine. She thanks the choreographers on their way out, then lets out
a big sigh.
