Wonyoung and Yujin will be graduating high school this day.

How fast time flies.

After Yujin sang for Wonyoung at the hospital, the latter can't help but to shed a few tears while smiling. Oh, how happy she is feeling that time when she found out that her crush likes her back.

Of course, when the song finished, Yujin asked Wonyoung if she wanted to be her girlfriend. Wonyoung immediately replied with a loud 'Yes!'.

The day after that, Wonyoung finally got to go to school, happily walking in the campus. When she was finally inside their classroom, she glanced at her chair and saw her classmates holding a flower, a violet flower while surrounding her desk.

When they caught a hint of Wonyoung's presence inside, they took some steps forward and threw the flowers up and slowly falling down on her chair, and there stood a familiar tall figure who was holding a banner saying, "Welcome Back, Wonyoungie!".

The said girl quickly recognized the figure as Yujin so she giggled to herself when she found out she was right when Yujin poked her head out of the banner, smiling goofily and the younger.

Wonyoung still doesn't know how she managed to change the older.

She still wasn't sure if everything was real or not.

She was sure that her life in high school was literally a whole fan fiction.

But she can't really complain since she very much likes what she have right now.

Standing on the platform of their gym's stage, Wonyoung was holding her diploma while testing the mic.

She gave out a short speech to thank her teachers, fellow students and others that helped her throughout high school.

"But most of all, I would like to thank the most to my girlfriend, Ahn Yujin."

She closed her eyes, entrapping the tears who were threatening to trickle down her cheeks inside.

"At first sight of her, I already fell in love with her because of her uniqueness. She had a slightly tanned skin, medium length hair, shining eyes, her cute dimples... everything about her just made me curious about her,"

Imagining Yujin smiling sheepishly at her seat at the rows of students made her heart swell.

"But, I found out that she likes my cousin, Lai Guanlin."

Wonyoung said with no trace of pain on her voice. Just sadness.

"She also didn't like me at first, she was annoyed that I always stick beside her but I kept my hopes up and tried my best to make friends with her."

She replayed those times when Yujin would ignore her in her head, smiling unconsciously.

"Soon, I gave up but I joined the council and tried to find out what she liked about my cousin, who was the vice-president at that time. But got into a stupid dating rumor with him which might probably upset Yujin so she ignored me for quite a long time?"

Wonyoung giggled and lightly opened her eyes, avoiding the gaze of a lot of students as she kept hers at the wooden structure of the platform.

"Then, some three students reported some fake news about her and blah blah blah, almost got her expelled but me and my cousin stopped it and yeah, Yujin cried and I comforted her, but her tears were never-ending. Though, when my cousin asked her to have a talk with him, she immediately composed herself and went with him outside, leaving me alone."

She remembers the pain she felt that day.

"I don't know why but, my legs started moving and followed them from behind. I saw them looking so happy while chatting. So there I was, walking out of there and letting myself be soaked in rain. Yujin saw me and chased me."

She took her time first before continuing,

"I woke up in the infirmary and she was taking care of me by her side."

Wonyoung fully remembers Yujin's warm hands that perfectly fit hers.

"We went home together and she bought me a teddy bear. She said it was an apology for ignoring me."

"And then, boom. Magically, we became friends and yeah, until foundation week came. We had limited time together since I had practice for our performance. I was really excited for it too, and I know that Yujin was as well. But then, my clumsy self slipped and fell on a crate head first and oof it hurt."

"Then yeah, got hospitalized and Yujin... sang a song for me."

Wonyoung's voice cracked as she sniffed, letting a single tear slide off of her face.

"Gave me a bouquet of beautiful fresh roses, while singing with a guitar."

How her heart pounded so fast that time.

"It was so sweet... She asked me to be her girlfriend... I said yes..."

"She gave me a heartwarming welcome back at school with our classmates..."

"We went on several dates..."

"She spoiled me so much..."

"She gave me everything..."

"It's just a shame that she never told me she only had a few months to live."

Wonyoung almost dropped the mic as both of her hands quickly covered her face, sobbing and tears streaming down her face.

She felt so broken.

She had never felt this much misery in her life, considering she was still young.

The school's staff went up to assist her, giving her a handkerchief and a bottle of water. Though, Wonyoung only accepted the handkerchief and not the bottle, thinking that it was much of a hassle to drink.

They helped the student, who was the class's top, go down the stairs. Can't do anything but just let her bawl her eyes out as they guided her to her seat.

Yes, Yujin was no longer in Wonyoung's presence.

She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and decided to keep it as a secret to Wonyoung, not wanting to worry the younger girl.

Yes, it was thoughtful of her. But it just let Wonyoung feel more pain since she never knew about it until Yuri and Yena texted her that Yujin was in the hospital, on the brink of death.

You know what was worse?

It was just this morning when the two texted Wonyoung, and Yuri and Yena said that she should worry about her graduation more. The two encouraging the younger by telling her that Yujin is a strong girl, she would definitely survive.

But Wonyoung didn't believe that.

She knew how fatal pancreatic cancer is.

She isn't as naive as others might think.

Now the thought of Yujin's heart beat on a straight and was being revived by the doctor was haunting her mind.

Her sobs weren't showing any sign of stopping, and also her tears.

Wonyoung heard her phone beat, indicating a message.

She didn't want to see it. But still, her hand still fished out her phone in her dress' pocket and saw a notification from Yuri.

She tapped on it and widened her eyes.

"Wonyoung... Yujin didn't make it."
