Yugioh Yami x reader - water Love

Chapter 2

In the middle of the ocean, were two mermaids, swimming happily around. "Come on yugi your getting too slow! " Yami, the the oldest brother teased as he watched his younger brother swimming pace began to reduce. "Easy for you to say! I'm getting tired. " Yugi complained.

Yami then chuckled. "You will get faster. Your still young. "

Yugi pouted. "Why do I have the feeling that you are making fun of me? "

"Yugi my little brother, when have I ever made fun of you? "Yugi then glared.

Yami laughed. "Now, now come down. You know I was just joking around with you. "

Both of the brothers sat down on a sea rock to rest. The silence was too quiet but not awkward. Then Yami broke it like a knife in a butter. "Yugi,...... I will be getting married in a few weeks. " Yugi faced his big brother with extreme shock.

The truth is that the boys we're from a royal family.  And as him being the first born, he was placed in an arranged marriage with Anzu..... A princess mermaid from another colony. "What....?! But.. But why?! Why did you agree to that? " "I didn't. Father told me last night, that I was arranged to be the husband to Princess Anzu." Suddenly Yami looked raged. Sure it was for his kingdom, but he wanted to Marry  out of love ❤️. He wanted to find that one of a kind girl that will make him fall head to heels, but that dream of his was shattered that night he received that news. He grunted with pure rage. "Its not fair! Father knows that I don't like that mermaid princess..... Then why would he arrange such a thing for me?! "

Yugi could only just look at his brtohter not knowing what to say. He knew his brother was the romantic type. He wanted to show his love to the girl of his dreams..... But it looked liked that it was not going to happen after all.

Before he could say anything..... There was a splash. The boys kept silent. "Did you hear that? "Yugi asked. "Yes, I did."

Yami suddenly became curious while yugi was the opposite. "Yami, let's go back. I don't think its safe in here. Besides we better get back home before thay find out that we are missing."

"Huh?... Oh you can leave, I want to see what's out there." Before yugi could protest, Yami swam out of his sight. "I'm in trouble! Yami wait for me! "He called out as he quickly followed him.

Yami carefully swam to the area the splash was heard. It sounded that it came from the surface. The young prince slowly brought out his head and looked around but saw nothing.

Then a melodious laugh caught his eardrums. He froze. Looking around for the voice. Then he spotted a figure in the shore. Luckily, there was a big rock near by which he hid himself. Yami slowly came out...... Only to spot the most beautiful girl he had ever seen! She had long black hair, lovely blue eyes, and rosely but natural pink lips. She was wearing a long white gown which flowed in the wind and Lovely white shoes. Yami rubbed his eyes praying that he wasn't day dreaming. He wasn't. The mermaid blushed madly as he watched her play at the shallow water, how She laughed childishly as she kicked the water around. How she gently carried a seashell and placed it in her ear as if it was a telephone. How she gently moved some hair from her face and tucked them behind her ear. How a lovely and enchanting smile always stayed if her lovely face. Yami's heart beat began to beat faster and louder. So loud that the human girl could hear it which he silently wanted that to happen. He had seen humans before but this one was way above all. He was so busy staring with a love struck grin in his face that he didn't notice his brother was calling out his name. What snapped him out was when a male human came running to the girl.

What?!  A male human with her? He began to panic. Who was he to her? How does he know her? His panicking only got worse as both of them began to leave the shore.

He desperately wanted to call her but he couldn't bare the risk of being caught. 'Yami! Yami! We have to go! They will see us if we don't leave! "But Yami didn't move a muscle. He was too focused on them, especially the girl. Yugi who had had enough grabbed his brother's tail and dragged him down causing the older brother to scream.

Maya and Felix faced the water. "Did you hear something? " "Im not too sure. Maybe we we're just hearing things." "Yeah, I guess your right. Come on. Let's go in. Mum's done with dinner. She even made your favorite. "

"Oh goodie!!! "Maya cheered.
