Thor was no longer carrying his younger brother, instead, he was assisting him in walking. Loki was still quite weak, though he insisted on sparing the embarrassment of carrying him.

The large expanse of the plains showed itself before them. It felt like they were in the middle of absolute nowhere.

Loki's sorcery has begun to show itself once more, signaling his improvement.

By now, the eldest god had no idea where they were going. The city remained in its teasing like state, getting farther and farther away as they walked toward it, so they gave up on that.

Thor had been feeling dizzy throughout the walk, earning concerned and confused glances from his young brother every so often, but he tried not to show it.

The setting sun set a wide-stretch of an orange hue across the terrain as the sparkle of the stars made themselves seen in the sky.

Now that Thor thinks about it, he hadn't felt well ever since they left the underground passageway.

As the brothers continued walking, Thor noticed Loki getting a bit tired, which was quite unlike him, especially this soon.

"Do you require rest, brother?" Thor asked while glancing over at the young god.

"I am quite fine, Thor..." Loki answered without looking up, though, based on Loki's pale complexion, the older god knew he wasn't, but couldn't grasp what could possibly be bothersome to his brother.

A couple minutes into walking, Thor felt that Loki was leaning heavily on him, and glancing over, he saw that the young God's legs were shaking.

Thor drifted his gaze to his brother, who was also looking back at him. Though, Thor couldn't grasp his expression clearly.

"Loki, are you well?" Thor asked, concern clearly lacing his voice.

Loki chuckled weakly, "Well, I-I suppose I c-can't lie forever..."

Before the young god was capable of saying anything else, he collapsed. Thor caught his brother's limp form, gently laying him on the cold grass.

"Loki?" Thor gently put his younger brother's head in his lap.

The young brother's breathing had gotten heavier, his nostrils flaring with every breath he took in. "T-Thor...I-I'm s-sorry," He apologized, his voice nothing more than a mere whisper.

The Thunder God rested his hand on Loki's chest. "You'll be alright, brother. Do not apologize, it is me who should be apologetic."

Loki lifted his hand, which was shaking badly, and placed it over Thor's, his weak fingers wrapping around his brother's.

A slight whimper of pain made its way out of Loki's throat as his grip on Thor's hand tightened.

"I thought you were improving," Thor finally said, his features crinkled in concern.

"Me too.." Loki breathed.

Then, a way-too-familiar voice spoke up from behind Thor.

"It appears I finally found you," the man, that apparently Thor thought he had blasted through the wall, said.

Thor felt Loki flinch.

Thor gently removed Loki's grip.

"Thor-" Loki started, sounding like a desperate plea.

"It is alright, brother. I shall prevail and rid of this man," Thor interjected.

Loki remained silent, but inside, he was pleading for Thor not to do it.
