Her lids flew open. A slight gasp escaped her lips at the light that surrounded her. She blinked a few times before her eyes adjusted to her surroundings. She scanned it, trying to get a hint at where she was. There was no strange city and no blue door. Her head flipped back in realisation. Her eyes glazed over with something unrecognisable. It was her home. It was Earth.
A click resounded in the back of her mind. The blue door was locked.
This world that is full of love, yet contaminated with loss and pain. This world that is oblivious to this suffering and to the blinding hatred growing from this pain. This world that she loved. This world that painfully killed her. This world that she hated. If hatred is derived from love, then...there is no love at all.
Reality came crashing down and a new realisation dawned on her. This reality. This world...was insanity.
