12 - He was always the one

"I'm in love with you! Stupid!" Zak confessed, looking at Darryl. The other looked back. His heart started to beat fast. Darryl stared at the other's beautiful brown eyes that were teary. Skeppy wasn't crying, he was all frustrated and flustered. He felt embarrassed that he was the one doing the confession.

He would always think that he wasn't going to be the one who'll fall in love. Oh boy was he wrong. He didn't believe that this was real. Was he hallucinating? Was he on drugs? Nope, he's sober.

The silence was killing them for a couple of seconds. Skeppy looked away from his friend and stare at the windshield. Rain starts to pour down heavily. He decided to break the silence.

"Look Darryl, I've never felt this way before and I don't know what to do about it!" They were alone in Bad's car, pedestrians were nowhere to be seen since it was super late. "After living with you for a while, you made me realized that I was attracted to you, only." The moon in the sky was brighter as usual. "You make me feel happy and special," He continued to avoid eye contact, his face was more flustered.

It took a while for Bad to find the right words. If he screws up, he'll make a fool out of himself.

"Zak," Skeppy turned his head, "Can I kiss you?" Skeppy's heart might've skipped a beat. Or have exploded.

His heart was pounding crazily but he decides to move closer to Darryl. Their eyes locked together and their soft lips were inches away from eachother. Bad is still waiting for an answer. Skeppy place his hand onto Bad's neck and his other caressing his right cheek.

"Yes," Their lips connected for the first time, it was slow and steady. The kiss tasted like a mixture of alcohol with a hint of fruit, it was bittersweet. 

They both let go and look at each other in the eyes. Skeppy's mind was spinning in circles while Bad was flushed from both the alcohol and the kiss.  

Skeppy unlocked his seat beat and let it automatically go back to its place, Bad did the same to avoid the uncomfortableness. Skeppy got on top of him to kiss him passionately with his legs around his waist. 

"You're hot," Skeppy grins. After realizing what he said, his face starts burning up. "What I mean is that your face is heating up from the alcohol." He lied.

Darryl laughed, "And you're cute," Bad smooch his cheek. Skeppy blushed and got off from his lover and went back to his seat. Now, that was intense.

"So, who's driving?" Skeppy chuckled while they both put on their seatbelts.

"You only took a sip, I think you can drive." Bad shoot his keys into Skeppy's legs. 

"Okay," Zak said, "Let's just keep on talking, I like hearing your voice." He brushed his hand against Bad's hand and linked.

"So, when did you first like me?" Zak asked.

"The moment I saw you at my front door," He replied and let a laugh, "What about you?"

"I have no idea, I didn't realize that I have a crush on you. I've never been in love before, but I'm glad that you're the first." Zak replied with honesty. "This is all new to me and I don't want to screw this up." 

"You're not messing things up, everything is good!" Bad ensures, "I don't want you to be uncomfortable or anything." 

"I'm comfortable!" Zak stated, "So, what are we?"

"Boyfriends?" Darryl answered. "I'd like us to be dating," Zak kissed his cheek.

"Okay" Zak opened GPS and entered Bad's address. "I'm surprised that you're not being a Drunkboyhalo right now. It felt like you were drunk during some of my streams which was funny," Bad didn't respond. "Darryl?" Zak turned to see his boyfriend fall asleep. He chuckled and turned on the engine to drive home.

After the car ride, he carried Darryl in his arms and headed inside the apartment. While trying not to drop him, he successfully unlock the door and went in. He went to Bad's room to placed him on his own bed. As Zak was about to leave, he felt a grip on his sleeve.

"Stay,"
