Skeppy's POV:

"You can't make money on this 'Youtube' thing online, it's not real!" My dad argued with me. I furrowed my eyebrows, annoyed by his ignorance. I wasn't going to deal with another debate with him again.

"That's because you don't believe me! I've enough money on my PayPal account to move out of this hellhole place so I can't hear your nonsense about your bullshit!" I talked back. I might regret saying that but it felt right saying that to my dad. In the beginning, he was so kind and open-minded but now, it's like something changed him. I couldn't figure out why.

"Don't you dare speak to me like this Zak! You're just like your sister, thinking you could just move out on your own!" My father yelled. "You'll fail miserably and then you'll come back, regretting that you left your only home." He spatted. "When you do, I won't let your ass come back here ever again!" He walked out of my room and slammed the door hard.

"Fucking prick," I mumbled.

I remembered the conversation I had with my father 2 years ago. I wasn't in good terms with him. He wanted me to go to University as soon as possible and major in Engineering. I was pretty great at math, but I didn't want to do engineering. I don't even know what I even want to do at that time.

At first, YouTube was me, a teenager making funny videos to entertain people. As time goes on, my channel grew and I met amazing humans in my life; fans and my YouTube friends.

After the heated argument with my father, I decided to give a call to my sister. She quickly picks up and greeted, "Hey Zak! What's up?"

"It's dad, I don't want to live there anymore, I know I'm still 17 and still at school but I can't take it anymore!" Living with him was torture. 

"Zak, I know how dad can be an ignorant bastard, but trust me, everything will be okay!"

"Will it?" I asked, "I'm starting to lose hope."

"When I was still at that boring school, I was secretly working when my classes were done and I saved plenty of cash to buy an apartment." She said. "Even though being a waitress sucked, the tip was well. After I was done high school, I moved out quickly."

"And you didn't tell me that you were moving on that day." 

"I know Zak and I'm so sorry for not telling you." She apologized, "To make it up to you, as my brother, I'll let you stay with me after you graduate. I promise." She informed.

"You will?"

"Yes, but I want you to be nice to them. Even though dad can be dad, I need you to not tell him about it. If he knows, he will do anything to prevent you from moving away." I nodded, "I don't want to put you in danger."

"Okay then, but what about mom?"

"She can't stop him Zak. She doesn't want to make him more frustrated. I'm waiting for her to just leave him." She explained. "Anyways, I have to go now! Take care of yourself, okay?"

"I'll, take care too, bye!" I hanged up.

After the phone call, I decided to go up to my dad and apologize. If I make him angry, it'll make things worse.

"I'm sorry dad, I shouldn't have said those things to you. I'm so grateful for what you do in the house and I won't disappoint you again."

"I forgive you, son, just don't be like your sister."

"I won't,"

"And I want you to stop this 'Youtube' thing from now on!"

"I will from now on! I will focus on my studies!"

I didn't stop being a YouTuber.
