Azira wanted to talk to Anthony while they were leaving herbology, but missed him by only a few seconds.
He tried finding him in the sea of other students. But it wasn't much use and ended up running into Kimmy, who said that she saw Anthony head down to the great hall.
Azira didn't know why he found the Crowley boy so intriguing. He had never been one to wonder about things. If he wanted to know how something worked, he would figure it out on his own.
He had heard Gabriel clearly starting a fight out side of his cab and opened the door to stop him.
Gabriel had a knack for picking fights, especially with the Crowley family.
Azira walked out to halfheartedly stop his brother, but when he stepped out, he locked glances with the most peculiar yellow eyes.
They gave Azira the impression of a snake.
Azira didn't remeber exactly what had transpired in the moment, only that Gabriel had ended up dropping the fight eventually with the other boy scampering for his dark glasses and running off.
"Who was that anyway?" Azira pressed.
"Anthony J. Crowley, the one who Uriel beet up at the twelfth night?"
"Which one?" Azira said. Remembering there were two.
"The youngest one? He gave Michael a broken arm too,"
Azira had heard of Anthony, but never saw him face to face.
He only knew that he was a Crowley that was about a month older than he was.
Gabriel slumped down in the seat and cracked the door open enough to see out.
It wasn't long be for his Uriel and Michael came in, both already in their school uniforms with red and gold accents.
Gabriel, Michael, and Uriel all talked among themselves and Azira looked out the window, itching to reach for a book.
But he knew if he drew attention to himself, the others would start talking to him about his classes, or his what house they expected him to get.
Gryffindor of course, you aren't much of a Fale if you aren't sorted into that one.
So instead, he got lost in his thoughts waiting for an opportunity to snatch his book with out them paying attention.
The Gabriel and Michael where talking about the new classes they got to take as third years, while Uriel talked about how excited she was to learn more advanced magic.
Through the open door, Azira saw a black haired figure pass. Everyone went quite as they did. Clearly they were a member of the Crowley family.
They didn't seem to take note of the attention and looked out the window in the train corridors, then moved on.
"Who was that?" Azira asked.
"Beelzabub, they're one of Anthony's older siblings," Gabriel rolled his eyes.
"He's in your year right? Anthony?" Michael asked Azira.
"Yes, I don't think he and I have ever met," Azira pondered.
"It's probably best we keep it that way," Uriel stated.
They went back to talking, this time about the Crowleys
"They only cause trouble, I don't know why Hogwarts keeps enrolling them!" Uriel hissed.
"One of them broke my arm once!" Michael pointed out.
All of them seemed to have something to say about the Family, but all Azira had known about them was that they were dangerous and they shouldn't be talked to.
"You should probably stay away from Anthony, just don't interact with him," Gabriel mentioned. He looked out the door way and got up, "I'll be right back."
"What, are you going off to go fight Beelzabub now?" Azira said, reaching for his book.
"Excellent suggestion, but no, I'm just going to find the WC," he rolled his eyes and headed out.
Michael and Uriel went back to taking about classes and Azira successful found a way to grab his book.
He suspected that Gabriel had run into some friends on his way out because for the rest of the train ride he didn't return.
Michael peeled off when their friend, a Slythrin girl named Elinor, showed up.
Uriel figured their was no reason for her to stay around if no one else was going to, and left shortly after Michael.
Azira considered leaving the car as well to go find Anthony and see if he was alright, but thought better of it at the image of Gabriel catching him in the act.
And even if he didn't, there was no guarantee that Anthony would be friendly. After all, his siblings had nothing but horror stories about the Crowlys and wasn't eager to find out how true they were.
He caught another glance of Anthony when they were placed next to each other on the boats so the first years could cross the make, but Anthony didn't seem to notice him.
When the sorting ceremony came, there were a few murmurs when a Fale was sorted into Hufflepuff but there were audible gasps when a Crowley was sorted into Hufflepuff.
They locked eyes for a brief moment when Anthony went to sit at the house table. And Azira was praying that he sat next to him.
But Anthony pulled off the gaze and sat next to some one else, he couldn't see who.
On their way to the basement, he wanted to reach out to Anthony, but couldn't bring himself to try.
He even ended up in the bed next to his in the dormitory.
Something struck him about Anthony, and he couldn't very well get the answers to his questions from one of his books.
Azira, for the first time in his life, was curios about something.
