Wisteria walks to class and sits in the back, pulling out her notebook and pretending to look at notes so she doesn't get noticed by anyone, it usually works for her. She was the new girl in a lot of schools and knows how to be invisible. She's been at this new school for a month and so far the only people that have noticed she's new are the teachers and the jocks.

The teachers have to know that I'm new because I have my name in the roster for classes but the jocks on the other hand saw her at gym and made fun of her for reading instead playing or working out. She'd learned to deal with it and ignore them throughout the years though. She used to get in trouble with the school for fighting the bullies and she learned to just ignore them and not get in trouble.

She liked this school so far, it had a good music room where she went to eat lunch and practice her singing  because no one else came in there. That's where she was right now, in the music room behind a practice room door closed and locked so no one can accidentally walk in and her singing. It should be soundproof but she knows it's not.

She plays the karaoke duet version of "Don't you worry child." She forgot other people occasionally came into the room and started to sing. She sang almost halfway through without realizing that someone was listening to her sing. The person decided to sing along and startled her but she continued singing and loved the way that their voices sounded together.

They finished the song and she asks, "Who are you?" The person chuckles and replies, "Come out of there and I'll tell you." She giggles almost silently and sighs in defeat. She opens the door and walks out of the practice room and into the main room.

"I'm August." The guy says with a smile. He hold his hand out for her to shake. "Wisteria." She says as she shakes his hand. They smile and he says, "Well we should probably head to class. You shouldn't walk with me, I've never seen you before which means if you're trying to be invisible, you shouldn't be talking to one of the most popular kids in school."

She laughs and says, "That's probably a good idea, meet me at the cafe near school at 3 or so after school, I wanna have a friend in the school." He smiles and says, "Sure, if I'm not there by around 3:45 I'll meet you at the park at 4:30. See ya then Wisteria." She waves him bye and waits till she hears the 5 minute bell ring and she rushes off to class.
