I wake up in my bed and don't remember how I got there. I check my phone and it's 6:00 in the morning on Monday. I fell asleep on the couch with Autumn and he must have taken me to my room.

I stretch and slowly and carefully I get up, avoiding unnecessary pain in my ribs. I walk out of the room and I find Autumn sleeping on the couch with one arm hanging off. I smile slightly and he starts to wake up.

I walk into the kitchen and pour myself some iced tea. He sits up and stretches like a pterodactyl, not realizing I was watching him. He turned around and laughed when he saw me staring at him. "Morning Pumpkin Spice."

"Morning Wisty. How'd you sleep?" He asks me with a look of embarrassment from me watching him stretch.

"I slept fine. How about you?" I say with a smile.

"Good, tho I'm a bit sore from the couch. I thought about sleeping on the floor but I decided against it." He laughs.

"It's almost school, do you need some clothes? I have some that could fit you that aren't classified as feminine."

He shakes his head. "I always have an outfit in my car in case it rains or something happens to my other clothes."

"That's smart." I smile and go back to my room and change from the clothes I went to sleep in into a loose black hoodie with frayed black jean shorts and a pair of black combat boots with paint splatters. I brush and put my hair in a ponytail.

I walk out of my room and smile when I see him waiting for me at the door. "Ready to go Pumpkin Spice?"

"Yup, what about you Wisty?"

"Let's go." I smile as he opens the door and lets me out before him. He walks out and locks the door. He lets me into the car and grins. We drive to school and jam out to random songs.

"You ready to be envied by people at school?" He says with a grin.

"Yup. It'll be fine. It's no different then being feared because you're edgy." I say with a laugh. He grins and we walk inside the school. We get a lot of confused and envious looks. Cierra sees us and walks over with a grin.

"Decided to be seen together Wisteria?" She asks with a smirk.

"Obviously Cie. Why else would I be walking and talking with him?" I laugh and move my hair out of my face.

Cierra walked away and a girl comes up to her and Autumn. The girl stops right in front of her and says, "Oh wow! You found a hoe to take care of Autumn?" The girl turns her body towards Wisteria. "Where'd he find you, the gutter or liquor store drinking all your money away?" August's nostrils flared in anger.

"Is that the most creative insult you could come up with? Honestly, even a 4-year old could make up a better and more creative insult." Wisteria radiated a calm but pissed off energy as she replied.

"You're just upset that I'm prettier than you and can easily take your boyfriend from you, you street rat." She responded, getting closer to Autumn.

Autumn looked extremely uncomfortable and full of rage.

"Really? A street rat? That's all you could come up with? Actually, it makes sense that's all you can come up with. Your brain can only hold a few bits of information at one time, and your brain is full of air and thoughts of dick you can't get already." Wisteria replied squeezing Autumn's hand to reassure him she's gone through worse.

A crowd had gathered around them. "How dare you insult my intelligence!" The girl exclaimed loudly.

"It's not that hard to do, there's not much intelligence to insult."

She yelled and charged at Wisteria. Wisteria dodged and pushed Autumn into the crowd.

The crowd had gotten bigger and made a circle of students ready to watch a fight. The girl lunged at her but she easily dodged and knocked her off her feet with a kick to the back of one of her knees. The girl gasped and tried to get up but she was too slow and Wisteria had grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back. She tried to fight back at first but she pulled her arm up and she didn't try again.

"Try me and Autumn again and I'll break your pretty little face. You perfume saturated sack of meat." She whispered in her ear. She let her up and walked off, grabbing Autumn's hand and walking to class like nothing happened and like Wisteria hadn't left a girl crying in the hallway floor.

Autumn was seeing Wisteria in a new light and wasn't sure what to think.
