As I turn and look behind me at my back I see a person in the dark room and his face is obscured by a mask and a hood. He speaks in a gruff voice not that of an angle but of a demon.

"I'm sorry little lady, we demons just get forced to do the dirty work that the "angels" don't want to do themselves for their stupid reputation."

I'm at a loss for words I've never thought about all the horrible punishments they do. I just imagined it was all part of being an angel. Mister Gruffy, I decide to call him for his voice, readjusts his hood so he can see what he he's doing.

"It's ok mister Gruffy" I say in a hushed tone. My eyes displaying hints of mischief. As I see his eyes crinkle with a sad happyness at the nickname. Then I see it, the knife that would rid me of my beautiful wings forever.

I silently cry as I feel the heat of being cut open but I know that this is for Daniel. Mister Gruff pulls out a needle and says roughly.

"I ain't suppos to be doin this, but I ain't one to watch a pretty lady suffer." He proceeds to numb the places all around my wings while my mind goes wild.

I had no idea there was such a thing as a nice demon, from the way he was I almost wished to be sent to Hell. Mister Gruff is nicer than most the angels I've met while being here. How are they treated in Hell? Why are we treated so poorly in Heaven? My mind is swirling with questions, but a rough voice takes me from my thoughts.

"There you go miss, all done and I'm very sorry for your punishment." He says with a look on his face that says he knows how it feels. He then hands me something. I can slightly see the shape. As my fingers engulf the object I realize that it's one of my angel feathers, but on a string to wear as a necklace.

As I am released from the chair I was once restrained in I turn to look at him in the dim room. I give him a smile and walk towards him. I wrap my arms around him engulfing him in a hug and whispering in his ear so that unwanted attention will not notice our interaction.

"Thanks you so much, Gruffy"

As I turn to go out of the room a tear escapes my eye as I look at my wings for the last time. Giving Gruffy one last smile and wiping the year from my cheek. I turn and walk out the door ready for what was to come.

Hey guys and galssss I really need something to call y'all, ideas are welcome.
