"The hierachy of communities."

I stiffled a yawn - earning a glare and an oncoming comment from the teacher.

His comment was cut off however, when some guy strolled in.

"Hi." He greeted almost hesitant. "I'm Harry."

"Ah yes! Harry Moore - class, this is the new student you were all so keen to ask about."

I looked down, my attampt at keeping interest in the lesson now gone. Sleep. I needed to sleep.

"Just sit between Charlie and Lexi over there. I'll explain what we've done so far post lesson."

There was shuffling, then the sound of a chair being pulled out and the thump of the bag in the floor beside me.

"Alright let's continue."

And I was a goner, eyelids heavy and the teacher's voice becoming a distant mumble.

"Hey."

Awake again, I turned my attention to the new kid.

"You in Chem next?"

"Yeah."

"Mind if I stick with you? I think we have the same schedule."

I shrugged.

"So. What's your name?" He asked.

"Charlie."

"I'm Harry. You probably knew that but you seemed pretty out of it so it's hard to tell."

"Sorry. Rough night." I responded.

He nodded as if in understanding before turning his attention back to the front.
