Kira and Amber are sisters who have a good life with their parents, until one day they're in school and get pulled from their classes to the principal’s office, only to be told to get their things as someone is coming to get them to take them to a foster home because their parents had died in a car crash just hours ago. They get adopted fairly quickly but they don't know who has adopted them. All the girls know is that they will be moving to Maryland, Baltimore, America to live with whoever has adopted them.
