Hoyeon's POV

When I fluttered my eyes open, I felt like I was in a more comfortable bed.

Wait.. bed? Wasn't I sleeping in the couch?

I looked to my right and my face burned when Jisung's face was so close to me. My head is above is right arm and he looked so peaceful sleeping, as always.

I turned to his direction and stared at his face, admiring such visual. I raised my hand and traced my finger on his chiseled cheek.

I smiled while looking at him. I immediately pulled my hand backed and closed my eyes when I saw a while ago that he slowly opened his eyes.

I pretended to be asleep and I felt his hand brushing on my hair. "I know you're awake." I groaned and opened my eyes. He chuckled, squishing my right cheek.

"What time is it?" He asked himself and looked at the wall clock. "Oh, it's eight. My breakfast will arrive in thirty minutes." He told me. I sat up from his bed and went off it.

I yawned and looked at my blanket left on the couch. "By the way, why did you carry me to your bed?" My face reddened again. "And prefer to sleep beside each other?" I added.

He sat up and waved his feet in the air. "You were shivering last night and your blanket was off you." He said, nodding. "You didn't need to, though." I replied, taking Sungie from the couch.

He shrugged. "But I wanted to." He said matter-of-factly. I just smiled and took my phone from Jisung's bed side table. "Oh, right, you'll be discharged this afternoon."

"Yep, and I'm ready to go home." I looked at him and he has his gaze on me. I smiled back and I dropped myself on the couch. "I'm still so tired. I want to sleep but I can't. Feel me?" I raised a brow at Jisung and he just laughed.

I pouted. "Don't laugh at me." He shook his head. "No, I mean, you're cute." I tightened my hug on Sungie. "Stop it." I scowled and he stopped.

I opened my phone and played 'Bye My First' by NCT Dream. Jisung looked at me as I started to dance like an idiot in the room. "What song is that?" He asked. I told him it was 'Bye My First'.

"What are you doing?" He laughed. I flailed Sungie in the air. "I don't know, too." I replied. I turned around and then Jisung was in front of me. "What—"

"The bear has the same name as me so I'm taking its place." He said. He tossed Sungie on the couch and Jisung turned me around. I sang with the song while Jisung and I made improvised steppings.

"Sarangi jom eoryeowo!" I shouted and we continued gliding around the room like idiots. The title of the song came in my head and I stared at Jisung's face.

No, I thought. You'll remember me. You're my first and last.

"Ba-ba-ba-ba ra-ra~" I sang along with the song and Jisung got the hang of it. He then sang with me. In the end of the song, he turned me around and hugged me in the back while we both said the last lyrics.

Love is a bit difficult.

Yes, it is.

Jisung immediately pulled away and hugged himself. I chuckled at how cute he is. The door of his hospital room opened and there came in Jisung's nurse with his breakfast.

She pushed the cart towards Jisung's bed and he sat down. The nurse then left the room and he looked at me. "Aren't you hungry?" He asked. I waved my hand. "Later. I'll take a bath first."

His cheeks and ears went red. "D-Don't worry, I'll change in the bathroom, too." He nodded in embarrassment and started eating. I took my clothes on the other bed side table, one near the couch, along with the towel and entered the bathroom.

I did my business there and I dried my body with the towel then used it to wrap up my hair. I changed into my clothes and left the bathroom. Jisung just finished with his food and the nurse came back to take the cart.

I was wearing an over-sized white shirt and black shorts. I sat down the couch, waiting for my feet to dry so I can wear my shoes. After a few minutes, I took off the towel from my head and brushed it then wore my shoes after.

"Jisung, I'll just head over in the cafeteria to eat. Is it okay?" He immediately nodded. "Of course! Besides, I'll also take a bath." I nodded before heading out. I walked towards the cafeteria and while I was getting in line, I noticed that the Jiheon Jisung was talking about was the one in front of me.

I tapped her shoulder and she turned her head to me. "Are you Jiheon?" She nodded. "Do you know Park Jisung? Room 127?" She smiled and nodded again. "Are you his friend?" I bit my lip. "He lost his memory but I'm his girlfriend." I said.

Her mouth formed into an 'o'. "No wonder. I would've thought that you are. You're so damn pretty!" I shook my head and laughed. "No, I'm not. Anyway, why are you in line? I thought your breakfast will be brought to you?"

"My nurse was absent so I went here myself. My shin doesn't hurt anymore so I'm fine," It was her turn and she ordered. After she got her tray, she said, "Let's eat together. I'll be in that table." She pointed at a specific table while I took her place in the line.

I nodded and ordered my own breakfast. After I took my tray, I went to where Jiheon was sitting and sat in front of her. "Why did Jisung lost his memories?" She suddenly asked. I sighed. "There was a loose car and he hit Jisung near the bus stop close to our apartment."

"Thank God he survived." I nodded. "It's all my fault, Jiheon.." She held my hand and asked why. "I.. I didn't listen to him. I kept on making unreasonable accusations at him that he's dating his ex-girlfriend again. He swore that he wouldn't lie to me but I didn't believe him."

"Jisung really keeps his promises, I tell you," She said, munching on her kimchi. "I have a bad memory but he did make a promise to me and he made it come true. Don't compare him to other boys or look at him like he was another boy. He's Jisung."

I nodded. "I know. It's me who is a bitch." She just chuckled. "There's a possibility that he can remember so don't lose hope. Never give up on him, Hoyeon."

I smiled. "I would believe in him this time."
