Hoyeon's POV

I smiled sadly and placed a hand on top of Jisung's. "It's not just for me, Jisung, but to our friends," I sighed. "I'm sure Mark and Jeno are also sad that you forgot them. They are your best friends and now you three feel like strangers, though they try to keep you up with the rest of us without your head hurting."

He suddenly took my hand with both of his. "No. I was asking about your perspective." When he said that sincerely, my mind went hazy, my heart also started skipping beats. "Like.. like why it's a big deal for me?" He nodded.

I shook my head, chuckling. "No, you got it all wrong. It's not like.. a big deal.." I said, my voice trailing off. Jisung softly grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him, leaning his face on me.

"You're not a good liar, aren't you?" I blushed while he smirked. "You stayed with me in my hospital room for three days, you keep on checking on me and you always apologize," He leaned in closer. "Why is it a big deal to you?"

I bit my lip. "Just like what you guessed. You are my boyfriend, that's why it's a big deal. We spent a lot of time together and see? We even live in the same apartment." I looked away from him and pulled my arm back.

"Hoyeon," I glanced at him and he wrapped his fingers around my chin. He stared into my eyes and it feels like before. The butterflies in my stomach went crazy and I can't think straight.

My gaze fell down to his lips and damn, how bad I want to kiss it. I gasped when Jisung slowly leaned in..

Only to be broken by my phone ringing. I backed away and grabbed my phone from the table, answering the call. "H-Hello?" I lightly slapped myself for stammering.

"Did Jisoo go to you today?" It was Jihoon. "Yeah, she did. She even apologized for triggering my memory."

"Did you forgive her?" I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Of course I did. She's my friend." Silence fell upon between us for a few seconds before he asked, "Are you going to focus more on apologizing to Jisung or bringing back his memories?"

I smiled. "Maybe on bringing back his memories. If it weren't for you calling, we could've kissed right now." I mumbled the last sentence so he was the only one to hear. Silence again until he shouted, "HUWAT?!"

I immediately shushed him and went outside. I slammed the door shut while Jihoon blabbered.

"He COULD HAVE kissed you?!"

"AAAAHH. I'm such a paranoid brother bear! It would have happened! Stupid me!"

"Should I burn myself, Goldie?"

"Sshh, Jihoon!" He kept on mourning on the kiss that never happened. I let him (and it went on for five minutes) before he finally shut up. "Are you done?"

"Y-Yes." I sighed. "Yeah, but anyway, we kissed a couple of times back then. Bye now." I didn't wait for his reply and ended the call. With embarrassment, I went back inside, my head down.

I glanced at Jisung and he just smiled at me before playing the episode again. "Sorry.. for earlier." Jisung suddenly spoke up. "Oh, no, it's.. i-it's okay."

Awkward silence surrounded us. I stood up and looked at him. "I'm going to take a nap." He nodded and I walked towards my room, acting normal although my mind is still in that almost kiss.

I sighed. Damn Jihoon.

Monday swept in and Jisung and I almost got late to school. "Why can't we take the bus? Cabs barely go here first thing in the morning." Jisung said, looking left and right for cabs.

"Not yet!" I exclaimed. Lucky for us, one was passing by and it sent us to school. Jisung paid this time and we rushed to our classroom.

Jisung turned to the right when we went in the building. "Where are you going?" He looked at me and pointed at something in the hallway. I pointed at my direction. "This is where our classroom is!"

He grinned shyly before following me to our room. When we got there, Ms. Kim was already inside standing next to her table. She looked at us for the cause of my knock. "May we co-" Before I could even finish, Ms. Kim nodded and motioned for us to come in.

I went inside but Jisung stood still in the doorway. "What are you doing?" I asked in a low voice. He pointed at himself. "Shouldn't I introduce myself first?" He mouthed. I chuckled and dragged Jisung to his seat.

I pushed him down and looked at him. "You don't need to. You only forgot about them. Ms. Kim will handle this, okay?" He nodded like an obedient child. I went to my seat and smiled at Jisoo as I settled beside her.

We looked in front when Ms. Kim started talking. "As you have heard, Mr. Park Jisung lost his memories due to an accident that happened a week ago. He might not have remembered you." Our classmates looked at him while Jisung just smiled at them nervously.

He looked at me and I gave him two thumbs up, telling him that it's going to be alright. He smiled back, his shoulders relaxing then the class started.

By lunch time, I was gonna leave with Jisoo and Shinhyuk when Jisung dragged me to the corner of the classroom. I raised a brow at him. I noticed thay his face was puffed and he looked anxious.

"What's wrong?" I asked softly. "It's like my first day." Jisung replied, nibbling on his lower lip. I laughed. "First day with memories wiped. Not your fault but mi-" He placed his thumb over my lips.

"I forgave you already." I sighed. "Yeah, I know. But don't worry, Mark and Jeno would be here in three, two, o-"

"JISUNGIE!" Jisung and I turned to the door and saw the said people. They waved at Jisung with wide grins on their handsome faces. He walked towards them with a lit up face. He glanced at me and I just nodded.

"He's getting used to it." I heard Jisoo say. "He sure is. Anyway, I noticed Minnie and Jaemin gone. Where are they?" I asked Shinhyuk busy dancing to Everglow's Adios.

"Oh, Jaem's helping Minnie with her assignments. She wasn't able to make it yesterday. Attended church and worked six hours in her part time job. She's been so busy lately." Jisoo and I nodded.

We walked out of the room and to the cafeteria. "I hope she takes care of herself and rest a lot." The girls nodded in agreement.

We were just going to settle in our table when Jisung suddenly popped up from nowhere. "Christ, you scared me." I mumbled, sighing. He grinned and made me look at him. "My past memories are gone, right?"

I nodded, looking at him weirdly. "Then let's clean the slate and start again," He held out his hand. "What could your name be, miss?" He asked with a sly smile on his face.

I glanced at Shinhyuk and Jisoo but they were obviously enjoying the sight. I took his hand and shook it. "Yoon Hoyeon. And who could you be, dear sir?" I said, smirking.

He suddenly kissed the back of my hand and looked at me, smiling softly. "I'm Jisung and I happen to be your boyfriend."
