Hello! Hello, hello, hello!

Long time no see :) I know, this story is technically finished and probably no one is going to read/see this anymore, BUT I've got a little surprise coming for you!

So, the story that you read, "i just need enough of you to dull the pain" was actually my sixth attempt, the final draft, at writing this story. I just found all the other five drafts again and decided to share the original beginning with you guys!
I didn't read it over at all – it's full of errors and sometimes might not make sense at all, but anyway! Here you go!
Also, PLEASE read the note at the very end for another little surprise <3

It was exactly 9.56pm when the bell over the door to the small tattoo shop rang, and Yoongi silently cursed whoever had just decided to enter.

Of course not out loud, and Yoongi even suppressed the strong urge to roll his eyes, in the end, reputation was everything when you were working with people, and he didn't want to scare away any costumers just because he couldn't control his moody self.

But, to his defense, it was four to ten, meaning that his shift ended in exactly four minutes and from then on, Jungkook would take over, and whoever had entered the shop could've waited ten more minutes, maybe, for Yoongi's sake.

He glanced at the person approaching the counter, but he didn't properly look up until the person stood right in front of him.
It was a man, maybe one or two years younger than Yoongi. He had ashy brown hair and, as far as Yoongi could tell in the dim, greenish light that surrounded them, was slightly tanned.
He smiled brightly; Yoongi raised an eyebrow.

"How can I help you?" Yoongi asked. The words came out a bit strained since Yoongi's upper body was bent over the counter and his elbow rested on the cold surface to prop up his chin.
"I... I'd like to make an appointment, if that's possible," the guy said and gave Yoongi another one of his boxy grins.
Yoongi blinked at him. "Sure."

He stood up straight and reached underneath the counter, then he put a book calendar down. While opening it and searching for the right page, he made sure to turn the pages as slowly as possible; he didn't even know why. Maybe just to show the guy in front of him how annoyingly late he had decided to enter this shop to make an appointment.
Said guy, however, didn't seem to be bothered by Yoongi's pace.
He just stood there and looked around curiously, eyed the drawings on the walls and the old, black couch on one side of the room.

Yoongi sighed again when he had found the right page. Long, dramatic.

"Alright," he said, catching the guy's attention.
"Do you already have an idea what kind of tattoo you want to get? Any... images or whatever?"
The guy nodded. "Yeah, I do."

Yoongi let his eyes trail over his body. He was wearing a black, short-sleeved shirt and straight-cut, wide, caramel colored pants. From what Yoongi could see the guy didn't seem to have any tattoos, but then again, there was not much skin exposed. Who knew.

"Have you ever gotten a tattoo before?" Yoongi asked, just to make sure. The guy nodded again. "Yeah, on my ankle."

"Do you have a drawing with you? So we can take a look at it 'n stuff, you know, improve it."
"Oh, sure!" the guy said hurriedly and pulled a neatly folded piece of paper out of his pocket.
"Here." He handed it to Yoongi who took a quick glance at it. Two cat eyes, a cat nose. That was about it – although Yoongi didn't take a closer look at it.

"Our prices start at around 100,000 won, the exact price depends on how long this tattoo takes. We usually ask for a deposit of 50,000 won, which is already part of the full price, so don't worry." Yoongi tried his best at smiling at the guy who took this as his cue to pull out his wallet, then, after a few seconds of searching, he seemed to have found the right amount of money and handed it to Yoongi.
