With the new quest now logged in our quest objectives Eva and I make our way to the crystal portal for floor 7. As we walk we check our items to ensure that we have enough potions and healing crystals to last us for whatever may lay ahead of us.

We reach the bright glowing blue portal and step though, within seconds we are transported to a wide open field with tall grass and wild flowers growing all around us.

I quickly armor up and equip one of my sabers as we hesitantly take our first steps into the tall grass. There are a few other player guilds visible in the distance fighting small enemies together, attempting to rack up their XP.

Almost immediately small scale enemies like boars and wolves begin to appear around us.

With one powerful slash of my saber I instantly kill the charging boar, watching as it shatters like glass shards and disappears into thin air. Similarly, Eva destroys the pouncing wolf with a single arrow from several yards away.

Too easy...

We make our way across the field, destroying creatures as we dash towards the ominous dark mountains to the left of the tall stone castle that is distinct to Floor 7.

I am very familiar with this floor, it's one of my personal favorites to level up on because the enemies are easy to beat and always drop tons of gold coins.

It seems that no matter how often Eva and I attempt the main quest of this floor we always get stuck on the last stages boss fight. Defeating the Giant Knight of the rival kingdom has been a pain in my neck for the past several months. It seems that no amount of leveling up and buying new equipment is helping Eva and I get any closer to beating the final boss.

Maybe this quest is what we have been missing all along?

Once we reach the castle we find that the drawbridge leading to the door of the castle is locked and barred up, restricting us from entering. Eva and I decide to use a grappling rope from my inventory to scale the wall and enter the castle from an open window on the east wing of the castle. With ease we climb the wall and begin making our way down the long corridors of the castle, down towards the basement.

The halls are completely empty and eerily quiet, the only sounds we can hear are the loud echoes of our heels against the marble floor.

We make our way down a long spiral staircase lined with dimly glowing torches. Once at the bottom, Eva and I both pluck a torch off of the wall to help guide us through the dark dungeon halls that lay before us.

On the way down the staircase I noted that three torches were missing from the walls, my guess is that there are three players ahead of us currently attempting the same quest. I wonder if we will run into any of them...

As Eva and I make our way through the darkness we fight off a few minor enemies such as spiders and stalagmite monsters. They are easy and rather annoying if truth be told. They just slow us down and drop a negligible amount of XP and gold.

Far in the the distance I can hear someone's sword clashing with a very loud and very large sounding creature. The battle sounds very heated and like the player may need help, Eva and I make eye contact and quickly begin running down the hall towards the battle.

Finally, the dark halls open up to a large, open cavelike space where a gigantic black dragon can be seen. It has several wounds on it and has obviously taken a serious beating. My eyes bounce around the room in search of the player or players that are currently battling it.

"Tae-look out!" I hear a korean speaking player shout from the shadows of the far end of the room.

"Gah!" My eyes fly over to the left side of the cave and land on the Sapphire Knight known as Taehyung. He is kneeling on the ground and covered in covered in a thin layer of dirt. He has a large claw mark down his left arm and his bright blue shield is laying a few feet away from him. His sword is stabbed into the ground by his side as he leans onto it to pull himself up as quickly as he can.
