☁️Shouto Todoroki x Reader:Rainy days

Wow, I really am such an idiot. I forgot my umbrella, which means I'll have to walk home in the pouring rain and get inevitably soaked. I sighed, might as well just go. I stepping out into the rain.

"L/N," I glanced behind me to see the familiar red and white haired boy.

"Oh, hey Todoroki. You know you can call me Y/N," you giggled at him.

"Oh okay," he plainly stated,"Do you not have an umbrella?" He asked glancing at my empty hands.

"No," I shrugged giggling,"I'm a little forgetful if you couldn't tell. But it's fine I don't mind the rain." I lied I hated the rain, and didn't want to be soaked.

"You um can share my umbrella with me," you glanced up at him noticing a slight pink dust his usual cool face.

"Are you sure you don't mind?"

"Not at all," he showed that rare smile I hardly ever got to see.

"Okay than as long as you don't mind," I walked over to him getting close enough so the umbrella covered both of us. I noticed him tense up at my closeness.

"You can relax Todoroki it's just me," I smiled my normal cheery tone at him.

"Yeah," he paused whispering the second part,"right." I glanced up at him, he really was attractive. Oh god Y/N don't think like that you're just friends. While my eyes were still staring at shouto's heterochromic ones his gaze shifted so we made eye contact. I glanced away quickly feeling the pink already go up my cheeks.

I knew He wasn't much of a talker but I mean I am so might as well spark a conversation,"So Todoroki, I've seen how you and Momo were since the physical exam. Do you like her?" I was truly interested they had always been pretty close and Momo was quite pretty, I couldn't compare of course.

"Hmm Momo," he seemed broken out of his train of thought," no not her." He didn't even stutter or blush, dang I wish I was so good at staying calm.

"Oh so there is someone then?" I teased him knowing he'd probably deny it, I mean if I'm being entirely honest he didn't seem the type to get crushes.

"Yes." WAIT WHAT he actually admitted to it.

"Really!" My eyes widened in surprise,"Who is it?" I asked excitedly.

"I'd love to tell you, Y/N, but we're at your house," he nonchalantly stated.

"Aww," I pouted,"then why don't you come in we can play video games and hang out."

"I really have to get home."

"Pleaseee," I gave him my best puppy dog eyes pulling on his sleeve.

He sighed and did another one of his half smiles," I guess."

"Yay! Come on," I tugged him into my house not even caring that I was getting soaked in the rain.

"Y/N, aren't your parents home," Shouto asked.

"Huh," I glanced up at him distracted by taking my shoes off," oh no, they moved to the US so they just let me stay here in our old house alone."

"Oh really," he seemed surprised,"do you like living alone?"

"Sometimes, I can be as loud as I want and do whatever I want," I shrugged my shoulders," but it gets quiet and it's lonely."I pulled him up to my room where I had my Xbox.

"I'll be right back, I got a little soaked in the rain," I rolled my eyes at myself. I walked to my dresser pulling out some clothes and moving to the bathroom to change.

I closed the door and looked in the mirror, god he really does get to me. Ugh no stop thinking like that, I pulled on the hoodie I had grabbed along with a pair of compression shorts. I brushed out my knitted hair and opened the door bouncing back into my room.

"What'd you wanna play, I have Black ops 1 2 3 or 4, or Minecraft or castle crashes," I gushed out," wait! Let's play Mario kart." I was an absolute god at Mario Kart, I ran to the Xbox turning it on and loading the game handing Todoroki my spare controller.

We played for like an hour I had completely forgotten about our conversation before we had come inside.

"Wait Todoroki who was it that you like," you looked over at him after my about 10th consecutive win, told you I was a god.

"And why would I tell you," he stated still staring at the screen.

"I'm days you said you would," I sarcastically said,"come on just tell me."

"That's too easy," he teased. Wow Todoroki teasing that's unheard of.

"Okay, okay you're right," I smiled at him," how about if I win this round you tell me and if you win I'll tell you anything you want me too." I smirked, I was quite competitive after all, I had won every round so far.

"How did you win?" My jaw dropped to the floor,"I won every single time this is not possible," I sprawled out across the floor."I want a rematch," I sparked up glancing at him.

"Nope, that's not how this works," he said coolly,"we made a deal remember.

"Yeah I know," I poured turning to him," so what do you wanna ask?"

"Who do you like?" He asked coolly as always. Should I be honest and say it's him or lie and say it's Bakugou or Kirishima or something. He seemed to read my thoughts at that one," and don't lie." Might as well just go for it,

"You," I said so quietly I couldn't even hear it myself.

"Huh, I cant hear you," he said.

"I like you damnit," I ranted," and I know you would never like me back and you're way to hot and powerful for someone like me. And that I'm just a dumb annoying girl, but I really like you, and I don't want this to affect our friendship. So, I'm sorry." I stared at the ground unable to make eye contact while sitting back on my heels.

"Y/N," I glanced up," I really like you too."

"Todoroki-."

"Shouto," he smirked," call me Shouto".

"Shout-," before I could finish he had leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine, surprised I closed me eyes and melted into the kiss. He smelled like peppermint and his lips were soft.

I pulled away facing him," Soo, what does this mean then?" I questioned him.

"It means, will you be girlfriend Y/N?"

"Yes Shouto," I leaned forward tackling him in another kiss so I sat on his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him deeper as he held my wait close to his chest.

"I hope you forget your umbrella more often," Shouto slyly stated.

Okay I know this is bad and short but I honestly don't even feel like writing and I've been so busy because I just had cheer camp and it's literally waking up at 7 am and going to bed at 1 am with no free time so I couldn't write at all and then I just had writers block so my apologies I'll do better<3
