(redo) 2~ Who are you

Just before guests began to arrive for the event, the father of the family summoned all his members.
"You two boys must behave and present your manly attributes clearly, no being shy at all. We are alphas and proud of it." A hard smile was displayed on his face, but just as he turned around to face Taehyung his eyes glinted with arrogance. He stared at the omega sternly and grabbed his wrist leading him to a separate room.
Taehyung's felt his stomach twist in fear.

"You. You are a pathetic mistake to our family. I don't like you engaging with our guests but they requested all of my sons and they know about me having 3. I don't want you to utter a single word. You keep your head down. Don't make any eye contact with anyone and keep to yourself unless called for by myself or your mother. Any misbehaving and you will pay for it." He spat at Taehyung making the other's eyes well up with tears and hurt. Taehyung tried to swallow it all down as he watched his father storm out back into the hall.

He wanted to beg every outsider to save him and take him away from this hell. He already tried to run away but he was caught and it didn't end well. Taehyung couldn't help but feel weaker than ever, his legs shaking. After a few moments he carefully walked down to the hall and stood by his brothers in silence.

"Look our 'beautiful' brother is here. Too bad you're not an alpha otherwise you may have actually had a chance to impress today." Jisung laughed at his younger brother.

"Jisung, stop it." Jin said, and Taehyung smiled internally thanking his brother for sticking up for him.

More horrid comments were fired but Taehyung chose to ignore them and bit his bottom lip whilst trying to distract himself.
He looked around the hall and admired the beautiful preparations that had been arranged for, the piles of appetising food and the wonderful seating. Just as his eyes skimmed every corner of the hall he saw a figure frantically waving at him, hidden behind a pillar. He slowly crept to see the light reveal the figure only to see Chaerin.
He sighed in relief.

"Yah, Taehyung. I found out that the Jeon family's second son is Jeon Jungkook. He's a few months older than you so I'm sure he'd prefer you over Jisung who's a year older than you both. You have to impress him and get him to notice you okay?! Best of luck I have to get back to preparing the food."
Before she left she slipped a bit of cake onto Taehyung's palm and smiled, running back.

She had spoken so fast Taehyung had struggled to catch on to every word she said, but he got the idea. He nibbled on the cake in the shadows before emerging back to his spot again. Oh how delicious each bit of the cake was! He had been hungry from the morning anyway and this was the best treat to calm his hunger.
He was so immersed in the delight of the cake he hadn't even noticed the large number of guests that were present, some still flooding through the doors ahead.

His father had warned him to keep his gaze lowered, but he'd never seen this many people before him ever. Taking this chance he observed the beauty of all the guests and their wonderful smiles.

He looked around a little more until his eyes fell into his father's cold glare causing him to flinch and immediately bow for an apology, keeping his head down from then on. He listened to the chatter of the people until suddenly it all came to an abrupt stop. He heard footsteps and realised the Jeon family had arrived.
