~Walter's Point of View~
I walked into the video game store. As I pushed open the door, the jingle bell rang. I've always liked that sound, it makes me remember a ton of stuff from when I was little. I walked up to the counter to ask about a game. When I looked up at the lady behind the counter, I noticed that she was a teenager, like me. She had dark red hair, and it looked natural...I would know. In the past I've been known to dye my hair wild colors such as red and blue. My personal favorite was blue, but since sophomore year, I've kept it at my natural brown.
She smiled at me, "Hello, I'm Effie. How may I help you?"
"Hi Effie, you have a beautiful name, by the way. I was wondering, do you have the new FIFA game?"
She started to walk around the corner, "We do! Let me get it for you,"
I snapped out of the daze she put me in, "Walter. My name's Walter. You can call me Walt...er, though." I shut up and smiled down at her. I was kinda rambling...oops!
"Well, Walter--you can call me Walter, it is nice to meet you. You have a very long and unfortunate name, if I might add. Here's the game." She handed me the game, a playful smirk implanted on her face.
I'm pretty sure I'm blushing a bit...but since I'm so pale, blushing a bit makes me look like a strawberry.
"You gonna take the game, Mr. Tomato Face?" She handed me the game again.
"Shut up! I don't even like tomatoes!" I snatched the game from her and walked out of the store. She followed me out. What on earth did she want....
"Gonna pay for that, Tomato Boy?"
Oh crap. I completely forgot. I reached in my pocket and pulled out my wallet. After paying her I looked back and said, "Hey, do you like FIFA?"
She laughed, "Not really...why?"
"Maybe I could teach you sometime...I'll be back." What on earth was I doing????
"Whatever you say, Tomato Boy." She said. I could tell she was happy though, because her smile was as big as her face when she walked back into the store.
"I think I liked Mr. Tomato Face better." I mumble to myself. Yeah, I'll be back...I'll definitely be back!
