Chapter 2

"Miss. Knowles" he looked at me "are you alright? You seem to have been distracted?" I look at him "Sorry I was just expecting a full class of students and ended up getting distracted" he smiled and nodded "Ok, because I've been trying to get your attention for the past few minutes"

"Well firstly,  this isn't exactly my classroom. My office is in the actual office. I'm actually the principal here!" He stated and my eyebrow arched from the confusion. "I'm lost, sorry" he chuckled "I was dared to actually do this by one of the teachers but I am the principal of the school and I just would love to say I hope you love the place!" He stated and smiled I just started nodding my head "Oh makes sense, but thank you so much! I love the school it's an amazing place!"

I nodded and smiled keeping my quiet not knowing what else to say. I took a glance at the time on my watch and it read '1:35 PM'. Solange would be getting out 2:30 PM "Mr. Carter, I need to really head out. Its gonna be really traffic. I need to pick up my little sister from school" but I'll see you tomorrow to continue the orientation" he smiles and nods.

"That is no problem at all Ms. Knowles, let me bring you out" we had gotten to the parking lot which was a silent and awkward walk.

I unlocked my car door, and then he takes a look at my car then smiles "Nice ride you got here." I smile "Thank you! My parents bought it for me on my 18th birthday. This car is just everything to me honestly"

I get in then he smiles at my response. I was about to close my door until he said he got it so I just started the car. "Alright Ms. Knowles, drive safely. I know your mother I think. Tina Lawson is it? One of the best laywers I've ever known. Tell her Shawn Carter said hello and to your father as well! I didn't wanna mention it because I know you get this a lot but my wife and I are a big fan of your music and all your work"

I nodded he was so sweet! "Awee thank you very much! Please tell your wife I said hi"  I smiled and started backing the car up then he waved. I waved back and went to Solange's school. I turned on the radio and guess who's freaking playing! Me!!

I didn't wanna be listening to my own music because I don't know I've always found it weird to listen and watch my projects. I just decided to put in a CD that I owned of Trey Songz then put on heart attack,  I then remember my best friend was in the music video, Kelly. The song then ended and I put on a different song from a different CD because I was still waiting for the light to turn green.

I had a CD of my ex J Cole . I played 'Wet Dreamz', this song was actually about me back in senior year so that was fun but every time I hear it, it makes me sound like a hoe. Not many people know it was about me though.

sat beside me used to laugh had mad joke, The teacher always got mad so we passed notes"

I smiled remembering that day so well the teacher got so mad when he told me a knock knock joke and the fact that I laughed was even funnier because it wasn't even funny in the firs place.

1 hour later after getting away from all the traffic I finally got to Solange's school and sat in the car on my phone looking at my older pictures and just scrolling through Instagram.

I hear the bell ring. I see Solange run to my car door smiling and all of that "Hey Solo how was school bubba?" She smiles and get inside "It was really good. My teachers were really nice. One of them told me that she loves your music" I smiled. "That's great to hear hunny! Oh really? Whats her name?" I asked while getting on to the freeway "Mrs. Carter" I thought for a second realizing that this may be was Mr. Carter's wife.

"Oh? I think I know her husband. Hes my principal and he knows momma too" she laughed at that I dont know why but she did. "What's funny?" I asked her while she was dying of laughter.  "Uhhh oh nothing" she just continued laughing.

Minutes later we arrived at home. I check the refrigerator then the pantry to look for what to cook. I found some Mac & Cheese and some clam chowder. I put them both on the stove, they both started boiling. I mixed them up. I got two bowls. I called for Solange to come and eat "Solo, come and eat. Food's almost ready" she came running down the stairs and sat on the chair. I hannded her the Mac & Chese and then a spoon. I put my food on the table grabbing some juice for both of us. We ate then she did her homrwork. I went inside my room and read a book, then decided to take my journal and started writing some songs.

Mom was still at work and so was dad,  perks of having hardworking parents. Mom being the top notch one she has always been. My dad being the the co-director of this one business and they both paid them a lot so I wouldn't exactly say that we are middle class but somewhere around there.
