Maybe this isn't a good idea after all. The bus is almost there and it seems kind of childish to get off now... Eh.... What's the worst that can happen? You get greeted by an open casket and say hello to the saw that'll crack your skull open? Nah. But, maybe it wouldn't have been such a bad idea to inform Liv about the address at least. Though, you know that the first thing on her to-do list will be research. Better not interrupt your journey to death. You're probably overthinking. As always. Every time... You're taken out of your thoughts when the bus hit the final destination. Anxiously ---- remembering where you've actually arrived --- you hesitate to the front door where you see a silhouette dancing from one end to another. Suddenly it doesn't seem that threatening anymore, the idea. Merely a harmless time off with an acquaintance. Your hesitation fades slowly and you knock on the door barely hiding the fact that you saw the rapid movements of the shade in the gloomy indoors. 3 knocks is enough to lure the person to the door, who unsurprisingly appeared to be the awaited man. "You came. I must say, I am surprised by your braveness." A joking tone that follows the man sounded. "Well, according to your little show you did in 'secret' you weren't that surprised at all." You laugh to his embarrassment. "Come in?" In awkwardness you walk in the pointed direction and look around to get to know the surroundings some more. For a funeral home, it's quite the place. Doesn't have the smell of death but rather....cinnamon? "Nice music you've got playing there." You say after noticing hints of Lithium in the background. "Ah, yes" Blaine walks in with 2 scotch glasses in his hold, filled with a golden, clear liquid, reaching just a quarter of the glass. "Nirvana. Kurt Cobain! Hu-man-legend." He swiftly gestures to the small to the stairs leading to the presumably more inhabitable and comfortable level of the house. Not that the first floor wasn't, but sitting around the caskets isn't the most joyous thing in the world, you believe. You decide to go first and take the first step up the staircase, as it's probably the safest. So you can push him off of it, if needed. Just in case....staircase (I am so sorry for that one)... As you walk up your sense of rationality hits you in the face like a pancake of reality, and you decide to go a different way. You stop, turn around, and clear your throat as silently as possible. "I actually think it would be better to go somewhere else." He looks stunned. You haven't said anything wrong and it's not entirely crazy to propose that to a K I L L E R. Though he doesn't seem like one, that's how they get you. Can't be too careful, you thought. Can't be too careful. "Yes, of course. Sure. I understand. I'ma grab my coat and we... Go to a cafe. How 'bout that?" You tremble down again and wander to the door. "Thank you for understanding and sorry for being indecisive." He pushes the apology away "You're not a burden, just smart. Which, now that I think about it, is kind of the same thing." He chuckles and marches towards the exit. "After you."
